The car journey was quite short, but it still have enough time for Carter and Mackenzie to get to know each other. And to my surprise they hit it off well.

Arriving in the parking lot, we all climbed out of the car and moved towards the field.

"You better hold your skirt down princess, I don't wanna get in a fight with a bunch of Oaks because my best friend decided to look like a slut" Carter chuckled.

"Hey! Your be one who said it was fine!" I smacked his chest, which he instantly rubbed.

"I'm kidding" He blushed, then turning to Mackenzie. "You into soccer?"

"Not at first, but when my brother became captain of the team I would watch all his games; now I find any excuse to go!" She giggled.

Raising an eyebrow, "Like the excuse you made earlier today, 'It's the first game of the season' I mimicked.

"That wasn't an excuse, today is actually the first game of the season" she replied, looking offended, which was soon replaced with a small laugh.

We found ourselves at the soccer field, making our way up the bleachers. Out of self consciousness I held my skirt down.

"Nice ass" I heard a croaky voice say from behind me. My whole body spun around, and I was about to hit the person in the face when I realised it was Carter.

"What the fuck! I was about to hit you!"

Carter grabbed onto his stomach and began howling. Not funny.

"I dare you to hit your best friend" he smirked at me.

Spinning my head back around, I continued to make you way up the bleachers, following Mackenzie's footsteps.

We sat ourselves near the top of the bleachers, in perfect view of the field. Mackenzie sat to my left and Carter to my right.

"Skye!" I looked up at Jakob who was walking towards us, he had a bag of nachos in his hand.

"Hey Jakob, why aren't you playing?"

He took a seat next to Carter, making me lean forward to see him fully.

He was wearing skinny blue jeans and a tight white top which showed off his muscles.

"Injured" He brushed it off.

"How did you get injured?" Carter spoke this time.

Jakob let out a awkward laugh before speaking. "It's pretty stupid actually..."

"Com'n" I pleaded.

"Well the other night I was just having 'Jakob time.' I sat down on the couch, a bag of nachos in one hand and a jar of salsa in the other"

"Okay..." I said, not knowing where this was going.

"Before opening the salsa, I thought, it needs a good shake. You know, one of those good shakes" He winked.

I laughed at this, and so did Carter. Mackenzie however was talking to a guy who was sitting next to her.

"Anyways" Jakob started again, "I was giving it a good shake...maybe a bit too good. I smacked the jar in my eye and blacked out. 10 minutes later, I woke up with a really bad headache, and when I looked in the mirror I had a massive yellow bruise around my eye"
