I noticed a BIG mistake throughout the book. Adrian is his brother’s name, not Aden. I have been going through the book changing it. I will make the changes on Wattpad at a later date.

Damien set the declaration of war papers down, ready to call it night. He twirled a strand of Jade’s wet hair in fingers, chuckling in frustration. “What am I going to do with such a vicious little mate?” He said sarcastically dropping her hair. There was no doubt when she runs, she watches out for ants. Heaven forbid she would step on one. “Werewolves are supposed to be ferocious and intimidating, not cute and cuddly lap dogs,” he mumbled seeing a smile forming on her lips. “You’re so lucky I love you,” he sighed putting his feet down.

“I’m sorry, I love you too,” Jade mumbled half awake.

Stunned she was awake and heard everything he faltered with his response. “I’m glad you’re Damien set the declaration of war papers down, ready to call it a night. “I’m sorry, I love you too,” Jade mumbled half awake.

Stunned she was awake and heard everything he faltered with his response. “I’m glad you’re timid and not violent. That’s something you should slowly grow out of, not be changed with.” He paused thinking his next line through, not wanting to scare her again. “Werewolves naturally become mean with age. It’s never a good thing when they are born or changed mean. I’m sorry I scared you. I didn’t mean to and I was never mad at you, I was mad at Adrian. Next time princess, lay down. I’m not telling you to submit, but I am telling you not to fight. There‘s no need to dominant over someone who won‘t fight.”

A knock at the door interrupted him. With great annoyance he muttered come in. He wanted to teach Jade everything himself. The reliance of books made him feel he wasn’t doing his part. There was only one person to blame and that was himself and he knew it. If he would have changed her when he was supposed to, he would have had the time to teach her.

“I’m sorry, I lost control,” Adrian spoke through the door ashamed of himself.

Jade’s slight uncomfortable squirm pulled Damien out of his thoughts. Damien’s hold tightened on her. With a soft kiss on the top of her head he whispered, “I’m here.” He gave her a quick tight squeeze then loosened his grip; ready to let her go if she decided to shift. “Come in,” he announced again, but this time in a cruel alpha tone. He could hear the sincerity in his brother’s voice, but that did not mean he trusted him not to lose control again.

Jade’s fear grew strong and Damien wasn’t going to reprimand her for it. Whether she was the alpha female or not, she was simply a pup getting used to this lifestyle. Damien had a feeling it was going to be a common scent Adrian was going to have to get used to. Adrian’s body shook at the overwhelming scent filling the room. As long as he didn’t shift he would be fine, but even for his human side the need to dominate was powerful. He took a deep breath in through his mouth, shutting off his sense of smell. “I’m sorry, I never should have shifted. I didn’t mean to hurt you, I just wanted you to roll over and submit. Please forgive me,” Adrian pleaded with Jade. The regret in his voice was unforgettable.

“You can and need to trust him, princess,” before Damien could finish his sentence, a measly, low end pack member snuck in behind Adrian. He smirked at Jade from the doorway with a glint of lust in his eyes. A warning growl from Damien only made Jade’s uneasiness worse. “Zoltin, back down.”
