Joey woke up the next morning unable to move, he had eaten to much the night before. He slowly pushed and forced his way up. He moved to his suite case and picked out something to wear. It was just a simple tee shirt and jeans. He opened up the door but didn't walk out when he heard the voices of Darrens parents yelling at him and Lauren.

"Darren, make up your mind!" His mother yelled in a tone that sounded like she wanted to rip her hair out.

"We want to stay in our apartment, we talked about it and came to the conclusion that no parents ever know what they are doing when it comes to there first child, but they learn, and we don't want everything done for us, we want to do this on our own." Darren explained to his mother.

"Darren we put the house on the market then took it back off and now... now your all grown up." His mother said sounding as if she was going to cry.

"What?"

"Sweet heart you and Lauren can do this, you two just made your first grown up decision, and used it for the well being of your child. You two are going to make wonderful parents."

Joey snuck out of his room and carefully made his way up stairs trying not to ruin the family moment happening in the dining room. Joey knocked on Brian and Merediths door.

"Come in." Brian said in a wisper. Joey opened the door and saw that everyone was in the room.

"Do you have food?" Dylan asked as Joey walked in and sat down on the floor.

"Uh no, sorry buddy."

"Dang, we're starving." He said.

"What are you guys doing?" Joey asked.

"We heard the conversation down stairs and it sounded pretty serious we didn't want to disturb them." Jaime explained to him. "I could ask you the same thing?"

"Yea, I could hear it to, but they need to hurry up my plane leaves soon." Joey told them.

"Oh yea you have to go back to school." Meredith said bummed out. Just then the door to the room next to theirs shut, it was Darren and Lauren. It was safe to say that they could leave.

Joey packed up his bag and hugged all of his friends goodbye. Then he called a taxi to take him to his house. He hugged his mom and dad, and told them he would be back home real soon. He called yet another taxi to take him to the air port. It was the middle of the day and the place was jammed packed with people. Joey grabbed hold of his suite case tight and headed in towards the mess. He quickly walked in and headed straight to security. They checked him and his bag and then set him free. The intercom rang announcing that his plane was boarding. He droped off his suite case then quickly headed to the drop off. Joey handed the lady his boarding pass and walked into the plane.

When the wheels touched down in Michigan, Joey was eager to get off. The man beside him wouldn't stop snoring and the eight year old brat behind him kept kicking his seat. It was one of those ironically bad flights that you see in movies.

When Joey got his suite case, he looked around the airport. There were no waving friends to great him like when he got off in California. Joey extended the handle on his suite case and left.

When Joey stepped foot on the Michigan campus he felt at home. The chilling wind hit him and he took it in, even though he was freezing. When he finally reached his dorm Evan was already in side.

"Joey!" Evan said then got up and gave him a hug.

"Hey man." Joey said returning the hug.

"So how was San Francisco?" Evan asked as he sat on his bed.

"Good, well we decided to have our own thanksgiving, and well it was a mess. Oh I no longer have to hold my tongue about Lauren being pregnant. But now Darren told me he was going to propose, I really wish he would stop telling me things." Joey explained to his roommate.

"Well you just told me."

"Shit, see I can't keep secrets." Joey said plopping down on his bed.

"Don't worry your secret is safe with me." Evan assured him. "Oh by the way there was a girl here earlier looking for you. I think her name was Bella."

"Really?"

"Yea, she said to tell you to come to her dorm when you get back."

"Thanks man." Joey said then shot out of the room. Joey ran all the way across campus to the girls dorms. When he reached Bellas dorm he knocked on the door. The door opened and it was not the face he was expecting to see. Tony Willard.

"Joey!" Bella said from being him. "I'm gonna step out side I really need to talk to him." Bella explained to Tony. He nodded his head and let her out.

"So?" Joey said a little annoyed.

"Look I know what your thinking." Bella started but Joey stopped her.

"No you don't know what I'm thinking. Did anything I said the other day mean anything to you?" Joey asked hurt.

"Joey, your my friend, that all I can see you as, and I know I tried to kiss you, but you know, I wasant thinking straight."

"Wow, I thought you were different, I know I ran away-"

"Yea and that was childish Joey." Bella said. Those words cut Joey deep. If this was who Bella truly was he didn't want any part of her.

"Bye Bella." Joey said as he walked off.

"Joey wait! I didn't mean it like that." She called out. But Joey ignored her and kept walking. What was I thinking, we barely knew each other. Joey thought, and he was right. They wernt even really friends, he helped her find the music building, he spied on her in the power center, and he sorta forced her to eat with him Darren and Lauren... and that was really it.

There were never really feelings for her there, it was all just pretend.
