Crissmas Party

The house was decorated beautifully, and Joey was very impressed when he walked in. There wasant a sole in the main hallway. Joey and his parents looked at each other confused, wondering where everyone was. They decided to try the living room, and bingo, they found everyone.

There was a giant circle around Lauren on the couch, mainly made up of Darrens distant family. Darren saw Joey and got up and walked to him.

"It didn't work." Darren said to Joey.

"What are you talking about?" Joey asked.

"Nobody even saw the ring, it's been constant questions about the baby. And Lauren is getting a little freaked out, everyone wants to touch her stomach, and she's not liking it." Darren explained.

"Excuse me." They heard Lauren say then get up and make her way over to Darren and Joey. "Let's go out side." Lauren suggested to the guys, they nodded and followed her out side. They all sat around a small tabel and the back porch.

"What is that?" Joey said over dramatically then took Laurens hand. Lauren smiled and rolled her eyes.

"I know you knew." Lauren said to Joey.

"Know what, oh is... is this a engagement ring?" Joey said sill over dramatically. "Have you thought of any dates, or anything?"

"Yes," Lauren replied eagerly, Joey looked at Darren who mouthed thank you. "We decided to have it next month, end of the month probably January the 29th or 30th, here at Darrens parents place, because it's so big and beautiful."

"Why so soon?" Joey asked.

"Well I don't want to look like an exploded watermelon walking down the aisle." Lauren said causing Darren and Joey to laugh.

"Why not after you have little him or her?" Joey asked.

"Because I want my parents to love our little peanut." Lauren explained, then rubbed her small bump.

"Peanut?" Joey asked.

"It's what we decide to call him or her, until we find out the gender." Darren explained.

"Ahhh." Joey said, Joey raised one of his eye brows and looked at Darren. "Sooo."

Darren knew what Joey wanted, he rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Joey Richter would you be my best man?" Darren said sort of monotone, but with a smile.

"Well yes of course." Joey replied as if it was coming as a big surprise to him.

"Oh yea, I have to do bridesmaids and maid of honor." Lauren said.

Lauren Darren and Joey sat on the porch for the rest of the night talking about the wedding and the baby, only when Lauren wanted to, and she only want to around Darren and Joey, not Darrens distant family that neither Darren or Lauren even knew.

"So boy or girl?" Joey asked his friends.

"Girl." They both saod in unison surprising one another.

"Really?" Lauren asked.

"Yea I've always wanted you know to have a little girl so she can be a daddy's girl." Darren explained.

"Oh my gosh, I can see that kid now banging on the piano, making as much noise as possible." Joey said laughing.

"Oh my gosh." Lauren said covering her ears and shaking her head and she giggled along. "You know I would be the bad guy who would come in and be like 'Stop making so much noise.'"

"But if it's a boy I will love it just the same." Darren said kissing Lauren on the cheek. Lauren nodded her head in agreement.

"Okay here's a more harder question." Joey said. "What would you name him or her?"

"Well auctaly I haven't stopped thinking about that." Darren said, and Lauren looked at him surprised. "If it was a girl I was thinking along the lines of Annabelle Kay, or Haley Elise Criss. But of its a boy maybe like Hunter James, or William James Criss. I like James as the boys middle name." Darren finished. Laurens jaw dropped surprise at how much thought Darren had put into this. Joey looked at Lauren and raised his eye brow.

"Oh my turn, um.. well I've only thought of one and it sort of corney and cliche, but I like Sami Reese Criss, it just flows, and before you say anything yes I know it was Elona's characters name in Little White Lie, I've just always liked it. And you snow Sami because of your song." Lauren said elbowing Darren. "And Reese after Reese Witherspoon, because you know I love her." Lauren said with a chuckle.

"That's auctaly really beautiful." Darren said to Lauren, her eyes lit up like the grand Christmas tree inside the house.

"We should put it to a poll, let you," Lauren started and pointed at Joey, "and the rest of the gang vote on there favorite names, obviously our choice would be final law, but I wanna put what you guys have to say into opinion." Lauren finished.

Darren nodded his head in agreement. "Sounds good to me."

The night continued on and Joey, Darren and Lauren ended up going back in the house. Lauren went back to Darrens distant family asking her weird questions that she didn't know the answers to, like 'are you going to use a 'titty pump' as Lauren would call it. She would answer the questions the best she coukd but they only made her feel like she didn't know what she was doing because she didn't know what any of the questions meant.

Finally at about ten o'clock they started to leave and head back to there hotel rooms. A few lingered around, bothering Lauren Darrens mom finally forced them out.

Joey and his family were the last ones to leave, they helped Darrens parents clean up there house as best they could. Finally no one could move an inch and everyone called it a night.

When Joey reached his house he went straight to his room and passed out.
