Simon's P.O.V.

"So are you good with the cake?" I asked my mum.

Today we were leaving to go back home. It was nice spending time with the family, but we needed to get home to record more videos. My parents always knew that and that is why they are okay with me only spending a few days here in Leeds.

"Yes Hun, everything is good. You two boys can go now. Don't forget to make those reservations and look at flowers." My mum said kissing me on the cheek.

"We know, we know. Nick you need to visit in a week for fittings, okay?" I said as Nick groaned from upstairs.

"Yeah, whatever, see you in a week." He said as I rolled my eyes.

"We'll see you soon." My dad said giving me his iconic bear hug.

"Bye love you." I said as we both walked out of the house and packed the car.

We waved goodbye as we pulled out of the driveway.

"Hey so I had an idea." Josh said as we got to the main highway.

"Shoot." I said as he nodded.

"Well I was thinking that we make the coming out and engagement video, post it and then we don't have the hassle of visiting my parents." He said obviously still nervous of their reaction.

"Josh, everything is going to be okay. They love you and they'll support you. No matter what I am here. We have each other." I said grabbing his hand and squeezing.

"I know, I just, they didn't take the whole Freya news well and I'm their only child except for my half brothers and I just don't want to disappoint." He said as I picked up his hand and kissed it.

"Okay, here's the thing, even if you do disappoint them, that doesn't matter. Because you are happy and that is what truly counts." I said as he smiled and looked at me.

"You're right. I shouldn't worry about what my dad and step mum have to say. Everything will be okay." He said smiling as we kept on driving.

We had finally got home and all we did was go to our room.

"Josh, I'm so tired." I said as he just nodded.

"Then come into bed with me." He said as he flopped onto his bed and put out his arms.

"But I got to make sure that I get those appointments." I said as he groaned.

"Who cares?" He said as just curled up into a ball.

"What do you mean 'who cares?' This is our wedding Josh. Our wedding. This is suppose to be one of the most memorable moments of our lives." I said as I stormed upstairs.

"Simon you know I didn't mean it like that." He said as I slammed my door, "Simon open you door."

"Who cares? It doesn't matter. Why would it matter?" I said mocking him as I fell onto my bed.

"Simon, you know I didn't mean it like that. I'm just tired."

"No I get it. It doesn't matter enough to you because you already had a chance at a wedding. What makes this one so special?" I said as he just banged on the door.

"Okay, that is no where close to true. You know why this wedding is special. It's because I'm in love with you and you are the only person I want. Yes I had my chance at a wedding and you know what, that was horrible. The only reason I don't want to make a big deal out of all the silly details, is because all we need for this wedding to be perfect is us. Just us. I'm sorry Simon." I got up and opened the door to see his face.

"I'm sorry. I know that is what is most important. I just, I want this to be something that we show our kids one day and it brings a smile to their face." I said as he smiled.

"Come on." He said as we walked over to my bed.

We both lied down and laid in each other's embrace.

"I love that you want to make our kids smile. But what is going to make them smile, is that we are their parents and that we love them." He said as he kissed the back of my head.

At that very moment everything felt perfect.
