*29th September 2016*
I woke up to a loud beeping. I jumped out of bed and rushed downstairs it was smokey.
"Sorry" AJ said waving a cloth in front of the smoke detector.
"What did you do?" I asked opening the door.
"The toaster jammed up" he said and the beeping stopped. I had a look at the toaster. I grabbed a fork.
"Your not sticking the fork in the toaster are you?" AJ asked.
"Trust me I've done this plenty of times" I said and stuck it into the top of the toast. Then an idea popped into mind. I started shaking as if I was being electrocuted. AJ started to freak out. I stopped.
"Chill I'm fine it's not even plugged in" I said holding up the cord.
"Shush I knew that" he muttered. I pulled out the toast.
"Maybe stick to cereal" I patted him on the shoulder. I made a bowl of fruit loops for myself and sat at the table to eat. Max ran in, my phone in his mouth. I took it and wiped away the slobber.
"Hello" I answered.
"Hey" Brooke replied "we've got the food tasting for the wedding today and I was wondering if you could come along"
"Yeah I can do that" I said.
"Yeah uh cool see you in half an hour" Brooke said distracted before hanging up.
"Bye" I said putting my phone down. Once I was finished breakfast I cleaned up and went to my room and got dressed.
"SKY" Brooke yelled.
"Coming!" I replied. I hopped down stairs. Brooke was standing in the front door.
"Ready to go?" She asked.
"Yup" I said and we went and got in Nate's car. We pulled up at a house and Nate honked the horn. Brooke looked at my through the visor mirror with a smirk. I rose an eyebrow at her. The sound of the door opening drew my attention away. Matt closed the door and smiled at me before putting on his seatbelt. I kneed the back of Brooke's chair. She just laughed.
"Morning" Matt said.
"Morning Matt, I hope your hungry" Brooke said.
"Starving" he laughed. His laugh caused that knot in my stomach to return not as bad as yesterday but still there.
"Sleep well?" Matt asked pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah I did"
"How's your foot?"
"Its feeling better only hurts when I walk on it but it's fine"
"Wait! what happened to your foot?" Brooke asked.
"Last night when you went to get dinner Matt and I went for a walk, I wasn't looking where I was going and stepped in some glass" I said.
"Is that all you's did?" Nate asked with a smirk.
"Yes" Matt and I both said.
"Ok ok" Brooke said and we pulled up to a white building.
