"Yep" Matt said with a small laugh. We all got out and went inside.
"Told you you'd enjoy it" Steph said as we walked out.
"Shush" I laughed. The girls laughed.
"My hands feel so clean" AJ said in awe.
"I can't remember the last time I had my nails done" I said looking at my hands.

"They're nice" Brooke said.
"Thanks guys" I said.
"It's fine" Nate said.
"So where to now?" I asked.
"We are going bowling" AJ said.
"Yes!" I fist pumped the air. We went and got back in the kombi van and headed off.
We pulled up outside of the bowling alley. We all climbed out and headed inside. Matt took my hand in his pulling me closer to him as we got in line. He wrapped his arms around my waist resting his chin on my shoulder.
"Happy birthday" he said and kissed my cheek making me giggle.
"Thank you" I said and kissed his cheek. I rested my arms over his as we waited.
"Next" the guy called. We stepped up. "Shoe size?" He asked and we told him. He handed over the bowling shoes.
"Thank you" we both said. We sat down and pulled on the shoes.
"So have you been bowling much?" Matt asked.
"Yeah the squad, when we were on base would go out bowling. It was a lot of fun. Even Max would come with" I smiled at the memory of little puppy Max barking at the pins and slipping all over the floor.
"By the smile I'm guessing you had fun" Matt said.
"It was, but this is going to be fun" I said getting up.
"It will" Matt said getting up. We walked over to the ball rack and picked out the ones we thought felt right. We walked over to our lane and we all started bowling.
