I got up and got dressed. I put Max on his leash and we went for a run. We had stopped for a rest and a drink when my phone dinged. I pulled it out.
Matt- Morning 🙂
I smiled before texting back
Sky- Good morning MatPat 😊
I saw a drinking fountain and took Max over to it. I turned on the tap underneath and Max had a drink.
Matt- sleep well?
Sky- I slept great. You?
Matt- yeah same. What are you up to?
Sky- just going for a run with Max.
Matt- oh yeah cool.
Sky- yeah.

I put my phone away and Max and I went home.
"I'm home!" I shouted.
"OK!" Brooke shouted back. I laughed shaking my head.
"You have mail" AJ said from the couch. "It's on your desk"
"Thanks AJ" I went upstairs and took Max's harness off before jumping in the shower. I rinsed off all my sweat and washed myself. I got out and got dressed.

I sat down in my computer chair and grabbed the top letter from 34 squad.

That's great to hear. Haha we tracked down their channels, you never told us you could sing.
"Oh god" I muttered.
But good job. Thanks haha I didn't realise how much pressure you had as commander. Tell Brooke 34 said congrats. Don't worry about us you just enjoy your self. And I'm so sorry I'm not sure if you've received the letter yet but we had to we had no other choice. You'll understand when you read it. Talk soon.

"What was he on about?" I asked myself. I picked up the other envelope, I tore it open and read it.
Max was being sent back out field. They're coming to get him in two days.
That's what Rivin was talking about. I sat on the floor and Max came up and licked my face.
"I'm going to miss you so much bud" I said. He just looked at me his tongue hanging out of his mouth. I laughed playfully pushing him away. He jumped on me pushing me over. I started roughing him up.
"Who's a silly dog? Who's a silly dog?" He got into a pouncing position and barked at me. "Bark bark to you too" I laughed. We went outside and played all day.
"Oi loser dinners ready!" Brooke called. I went inside and grabbed my plate with a burger and chips on it before sitting at the table.
