Soon Jason and Chris left and Steph came and sat beside me.
"Whatcha watching?" She asked.
"I have no idea" I laughed she smiled and shook her head. We watched a few episodes of whatever was on before Matt walked in.
"Dinners ready" he said. We went and ate.
"Hey would it be alright if I had a shower after tea?" I asked.
"Yeah that's fine" Matt said, "and I'll lend you some clothes for the night"
"Thank you" I smiled at him. He gave me a smile and we finished eating. We all went into the lounge, Steph on the lounge chair and Matt and I on the sofa. Matt was working on his new script, occasionally he would stop for a few seconds and take my hands in his entwining our fingers together, before he would let go he would give them a small squeeze and go back to typing. Sometimes he would lean over and press a kiss to my cheek. Or even wrap and arm around my shoulders pulling me close to him for a few minutes before letting go and retuning to his script.
"Hey can I grab a towel so I can shower?" I asked.
"Yeah of course" Matt said putting his laptop aside and standing up. I got up and followed him upstairs. He grabbed a towel and handed it to me.
"Thank you"
"I'll get you a change of clothes" he said and pressed a kiss to my forehead. I smiled and followed him to his room. He got me a pair of track pants and one of his shirts.
"Thanks Matt" I smiled.
"It's fine" he said. "Steph and I will probably be down in the lounge still when you get out"
"Alright" I said and I went and jumped in the shower. When I was done I put on Matts clothes and dried my hair. I headed down stairs to see them both at the whiteboard in the... im not exactly what room it was. I went and sat down on one of the chairs. They were figuring something out so I stayed quiet. Steph popped out with the answer and Matt wrote it down.
"Ok" Matt said before yawning. "I think it's time I got the hay"
"Agreed" Steph chuckled.
"Nice shower?" Matt asked.
"Yeah" I smiled. And with that we all headed up to bed. Matt was turning off everything down stairs. I stood by his dresser just having a look at his little nerdy nick nacks.
"You alright?" Matts voice asked softly in my ear as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Just looking at your nerd stuff" I giggled.
"Leave my nerd stuff out of this" he laughed picking me up and pulled me onto the bed. I giggled and tried to wriggle out of his grasp. After a little bit he let go and sat up after I rolled off of him.
"Your nerdy stuff is cute" I said. He smiled and went and turned off the light before climbing into bed. I laid next to him and cuddled up to him.
"Goodnight princess" he said.
"Goodnight Chewy" I giggled.
