Max ran over and jumped on me.
"Ha ha hey buddy" I patted him.
"So how was ma-" Brooke asked walking in the room. "Never mind" she hurried back out.
"Only brooke" I sighed. Matt laughed "let's go get your jacket" we walked up to my room.
"Nice room" Matt said as we walked in. "Did you draw this?" He picked up my Growlithe drawing.
"Yeah it's one of my favourite Pokemon" I said.
"It's cute" he put the picture back.
"Thanks" I grabbed the jacket off of the chair.
I turned around and everything happened really fast. Matt put his hand on my cheek and pressed his lips to mine. His arm went around my waist pulling me closer. My heart raced. The knot in my stomach was bigger than ever. I froze. I don't know what to do. This is the first time a guy has ever kissed me. Matt pulled away smiling at me.
"Uh here's your uh jacket" I said handing him his jacket.
"Thanks" he said "I'm gonna go" and he left. He closed my bedroom door. I lifted my fingers to my lips.
"Wow" I breathed sitting on my bed
"What happened?!" Brooke asked rushing in.
"Huh"
"Matt looks so upset" I explained what happened. "That explains it he thinks you don't like him"
"I do though"
"Now if he wasn't about to leave I would fangirl. But go tell him that you like him while you still can" she said. I got up and ran down stairs. I ran out the door.
"Matt!" I called he turned around. I was trying to stop but ran into him.
"What's wrong? are you alright?" He asked placing his hands on my upper arms.
"I uh I" I stuttered. Screw it. I pecked his lips and stepped back. I looked down at the ground. Matt wrapped his arms around me. "I'm sorry I ju-" I said.
"It's fine" he said with a smile. We stood there hugging until I ruined it by shivering. "You should go inside" Matt said tucking some hair behind my ear.
"It is a little cold" I admitted.
"Ok I might come by tomorrow" he said. I nodded. "Goodnight Skylar" he said and kissed my forehead.
"Goodnight Matthew" I said.
"Sweet dreams" I smiled and went inside. I closed the door with a happy sigh.
"Took you long enough" Brooke said with a smirk sitting on the bench.
"Shut up" I said. Brooke came and gave me a hug.
"Your growing up" she wiped a fake tear away. I laughed shaking my head.
"I'm going to bed" I laughed.
"Wait you have to tell me everything" Brooke said.
"Tomorrow" and with that I walked up to my room and went to bed.
