Saturday 2.05am

"Oh my god did you see how many people came out crying?" Leo laughed as he closed the door behind him, following me into our room.

"Why are you laughing, we were all crying. Let's not pretend you didn't shed a tear, I saw you," I retorted with a smirk as I sat down on the bed carefully so that my dress didn't slide down my leg too much or split, finally taking my heels off.

The lighting was dim and cosy, only the small lamps that hung above the bedside tables on each side of the bed turned on, illuminating Leo's face as if it was lit by a late sunset.

"It just means we've done a good job." He said as he lay down on the bed next to where I sat, to my right, folding his arms behind his head to prop his head up, proceeding to watch me and my every move without a word.

I stood from the bed, my beautiful heels (which I was now keeping whether I was allowed to or not) in my hand, and placed them in one corner of the room so that I could pack them easily in the morning when we left for London.

I turned back to the bed, and Leo, but stopped in my tracks when I saw he was still watching me, that intense look on his face still there.

"....what?" I asked him, breaking the silence, but not his gaze. His lips curled into a lopsided grin, but he carried on with the eye contact.

He raised his eyebrows in mock innocence "Nothing." I inched closer to the bed, not buying his words. That look wasn't 'nothing'. He slid his hand out from behind his head and patted the space next to him playfully.

"What?" I asked again, now smiling mischievously myself.

"Come. Lie down. Been a long day."  He replied. I wasn't gonna argue, so I threw myself down on the bed on my stomach, next to Leo. He was smirking down at me, so I smiled back. It was strange, his behaviour. It was like he was waiting for something.

The whole hectic day hit me as soon as I lay down, so I folded my arms down on the bed and lay my head down on top of them, closing my eyes.

Tenderly, I felt Leo brush the stray hairs away from my face that had fallen as I lay my head down, then his soft fingers graze my cheek. His fingers wandered from my cheek down to ghost over my lips, trailing over them repeatedly.

I opened my eyes and looked up at him. He was still leaning against the headboard, staring down at me, but he was no longer smiling. He looked serious, focused almost, so I propped myself up on my elbows in confusion.

There was a prolonged moment of silence before his eyes darted down to my lips and he leaned down, pressing his lips against mine softly. I was frozen in place, all the feelings I had felt all those times he kissed before, all rushing back. I closed my eyes and reciprocated the kiss, moving my lips in rhythm with his.

His hand went to cup my face, and it slid up to nestle in my hair, which was still in a pristine bun, save from the few baby hairs that had escaped and fell to frame my face throughout the duration of the night.

He traced the curve of my lips with his, before dipping his tongue in my mouth as he pulled my body up, not once disconnecting our lips. He guided me to rest on top of him, and I went along with it, straddling him so that my legs were around the lower half of his body, and I could feel the hardening of his pants beneath me as he deepened the kiss, pulling me closer.

He held my face in both hands forcefully as he pushed himself up to a sitting position, so that he was fully leaning against the headboard, and I was in his lap.

His right hand travelled down from my face down my body to my waist, and then eventually down to my thigh, which was now partly bare due to the dress riding up, not that I cared - I was too far gone in the moment.
