“Man…I’m stuffed.” Said Angel. We watch as Seven took off to whatever she lurks within this city. Mira also takes off back to her home.

“You were quiet in the restaurant.” Angel claims.

“I was…wasn’t I?” I said as I kicked a rock with my hands inside my pockets. Angel and I walked on the sidewalk next to the beach. I look at Angel as he stares into the blue ocean. Sometimes I like to look at his eyes because I always see what he thinks about. As he looks within the brightness of the ocean, he believes that there is hope in this city that he once forsaken.

“What are you staring at with that creepy smile you have on?” Angel said sarcastically as he laughed. I blushed a bit as I turn my head towards the ocean. After I look at the ocean I looked up to the sky; the sky above the ocean is pure blue and to the sky over the tallest tower, most likely Lady Saya and Fiora’s headquarter is, is blacken. Even their leadership leave the sky in despair.

“Ever wonder why we ended up like this?” I asked Angel, but his eyes were on something else. I notice what he was staring at; Angel was staring at Eve as she swings her katana gracefully. She swung her katana up and down. Eve then swung her katana to the left in such a graceful motion. She does the same to her right. Eve’s purple hair followed the wind gracefully. I looked to my left and notice that Angel walked towards her and so I followed from a distance.

“Hey Eve, remember me?” Angel said as he blushed while rubbing the back of his head.

“Oh, the boy who almost pissed in his pants.” Eve said as she gave a flirtatious giggle. I stuck my tongue out and pointed the inside of my mouth.

“I never pissed my pants!” Angel said in embarrassment. Eve stands there choking in her laughter. After their brief laughing moment, I squat down because I knew they were going to take a while.

           “So what’s up?”  Eve asked.

“Um, just happen to walk by and notice you were alone on the beach…So I wanted to say hello and umm…” Angel struggled to say.

          “Yes,” Eve said.

          “Huh?”

“Yes, I’ll hangout with you. Weren’t you going to ask me that?” Eve asked. Angel turned his head and looked at me; I wiggled my hand up and down at him.

“Yeah…yeah I mean to ask that.” Angel said as he smiled.

I put away my katana as I once again talk to Angel. At first I was a bit nervous when Angel approach me. Something inside me was warm, but nice in a way. What is this feeling?

“I know this is not a good time to ask this, but how life?” I asked as I stare down at my bare feet.”

“Oh, well besides the Purging in only few weeks, it’s been pretty exciting.”

“Oh…ok…that’s nice to hear.” I smiled back. I was very nervous from the pressure I was getting. I was confused by the feeling in me that made me unclear about what I should talk about. Angel is just there walking with me on the beach. Knowing the fact that I was on the beach, walking, with a boy, made me feel even more nervous.

I looked back at Deva and notice she did not pay no attention to us. Deva is squatting down while staring at the sky. I wonder what she is thinking right now. Both her eyes tell different stories because one is Hazel, like my, and the other one is blank which gave me the chills. I looked back at Angel who smiled back; blushed and look away.
