The night sky seem gloomy to me. I walked within the cold chilly night as I walked towards the cemetery where I met the man in the hood. I wished what Lady Saya have told me did not trouble me, I loved the fact that I walked alone at night. But her words are the only thing on my mind. She might want to know what she does not want to know, echoed within my mind.

I just stared at the ground, watching my feet as it walk in front of each other. Left foot then right foot, right foot then left foot. “She might want to know what she does not want to know…” what does she mean by that? Suddenly my mind was so drifted to the point that I took a wrong turn and ended up somewhere else. It was a mysterious place that I never set foot on. I heard of this place, but never did I believed such place existed.

I wondered towards an abandon stairs that lead to a train station. 42th Street was on the sign above the station, it also had a sign that was just a huge “N” with yellow surrounding it. But I ignored my curiosity about the scenery of a station. Never have I gotten the chance to see trains, I don’t even have any clue about how they even look like. I’ve been told stories about how people would go on it to go to places, even across the country, but there isn’t anything out there no more. It is swallow by Armageddon’s darkness, created by Satan, but where is he? Why is there still humans?

The streets were filled with weeds that grew from the underground, which caused so many cracks on the concrete. So much trash that flew by me as I walked towards an empty bar that had no windows, it was broken. Sometimes I felt sharp glass as I stepped over some.

“I can go for something…” I slowly opened the hollow door. Inside were nothing, but broken bottles of wine and none that was a whole. But still, I sat on a high stole and examine each of the wine bottles. “These people must love moonshine and coronas.”

Second passed by as I checked my cell: no bars. I wondered if Eve have called me since the time have pass by. Suddenly I picked up a bottle and opened it. To be honest with myself, I was underage to drink, but why does it matter now? Especially when I am a survivor in a demon apocalypse.

“You shouldn’t be drinking that!” Suddenly I spun around and held the bottle out in front of me. It was a boy who was about my age.

“W-w-who are you?” I asked as I stepped back from him.

He examined me in a weird way. I thought he was checking me out, but his serious expression counter that fact. “You look clean…Are you from Delaxy?”

“Yeah, but it’s not Delaxy anymore. The name is Purge Souls…”

“Figures!” Figures? What did he meant by such a word? By his tone, I felt as if he knew it wasn’t Delaxy anymore. I sat there, staring at him and his tanned skin tone. He seems fit, but he looked hungry. I wondered how long he haven’t ate anything and yet, he looked very fit.

I wanted to ask him about his life, but would it be too sudden? I asked him, “Have you lived in this abandon sector of the city?” The sector I was in was still consider as part of the whole state, but Delaxy became separated with the rest of the area, but why haven’t the walls cut off this part of the city.

“There are others like me, who live in this city. We refuse to live in your part of the city…” The way by his expression have threaten me. The fact that I lived in Delaxy angered him to the point that he would not trust me. I can’t blame him, I have a blank eye.

“Relax, I’m not what you think I am!” I stepped back again. His expression scared me. He might try to attack me because of his hostile look.

“Explain that eye!” He stood there with his arm as it kept a distance from his hips. He was ready to fight me off if I ever try to do something. But I stood there, trying to come up with something, come up with something that is unexplainable. I wish I knew how I was given this eye in the first place. It was my greatest mystery from my dark past, but I believed it is connected with the attack.
