“Its windy outside for a boring day like this.” Fiora closed the window as she stared at the roses outside. They were red and beautiful, but some petals flew away to the beach. Fiora’s tower was closer to the beach than the other buildings that were constructed around her.

“Um…” I walked closer to Fiora, who stared at the roses outside. For such an absurd reason, I wondered if I can have a conversation about something beautiful for once. Maybe, I can see a different side of her. “What are you looking at?”

“Roses.” Fiora said in a depressed tone.

          “Aren’t they beautiful?” I asked.

“Yeah, but everything beautiful must die…just like the man I once loved!” Once more, Fiora let out a tear that was hidden inside her heart, a heart filled with demonic darkness. But her tears made me realize that she have some good in her.

Suddenly I stood next to her and squinted my eyes to realize a man who stood next to the roses. It was a handsome man, who looked very healthy and alive. He had nice hair and strong arms. “You’re staring at the guy, not the roses…figures…” I rolled my eyes and sat on the couch as I read a very old magazine about love and sex. I flipped through a few pages that had a beautiful white dove on it. Never have I seen such a divine creature with such beautiful features. The whiteness made me think about purity and love.

Next, I turned the page and saw a man with a woman on top of her, naked. But bed sheets covered them, halfway. It talked about sex and how to keep a strong sexual life.

It was strange for Fiora to have a magazine that is mainly about love and sex, mostly because Fiora never had a long commitment with any man.

“Interested in a boy, eh?” Saya said as she looked over my shoulder.

“NO!” I closed the page and threw it back on the coffee table. I blushed a little because I was.

“Haha, then why are you blushing?” Saya had a smirk on as she sat next to me, treated me as if I was little. But Fiora did not pay attention to us. She continued to stare at the man outside.

Suddenly, she grabbed her coat and left the tower. “Where is she going?” Saya asked. I quickly got up from the coach and began to observe Fiora as she walked closer to the man.

The man looked shocked and afraid because he was also part of this city, even before the attack. He was one of the townsfolk that dislike Fiora, especially what Fiora have done recently in the school yard.

They shook hands and she stood there, flirty as ever. I rolled my eyes and turned my attention to Saya. “Why is Fiora like that? Always have to have love in her life, and not that typical love, it’s that lust for sex!”

“What do you expect from a…”

Suddenly there was a knock on the door that interrupted Saya. She opened it and found that War was behind the door. Many thoughts flooded my mind because she was my worst enemy, worst enemy to my friends, the scum that fuels Deva’s lust for vengeance.

“Where is Fiora?” War asked, but she looked serious.

          “Outside. Why?” Saya replied back.

“It’s a random thought that occur to me when I visited Layevan’s basement…” Fear struck my heart. Saya did not pay much attention to what War said. She grabbed a cup of coffee and drank it as she picked up the same magazine. “It seems that someone was using the basement as a church. To me exact, there were a recent mass that went down, I’ll guess a week ago.”
