"And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come.

And another horse came forth, a red horse: and to him that sat thereon it was given to take peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. "

                 - Revelation 6:1

“Look at this, Deva!” Mira pointed at the sky. I stared at the sky as it was split into two. Right between was just pure whiteness, but why?

“Weird. Hey Mira, have you heard from Eve?” Mira was still staring out the window, inside my apartment. Suddenly it closed and the sky returns to its normal state.

Suddenly I heard the phone rang and Mira picked it up. I sat back down on the couch, sipping on some tea because I still felt sick. I look towards Mira with her bruised up cheek from the backhand that Fiora gave her. It was all blue and it hurt Mira every time she talked.

“Hello? Eve?! Eve where are you?!” Mira said to the phone. I was relieved that Eve was ok, but Mira’s reaction made me worry again for Eve. Mira close the phone and slowly looked towards me. “This is bad…” she suddenly curled up a fist and tight her teeth as she put on a face that worried me so much.

“Tell me what is going on with Eve!” I shook her, but she gently pushed me away. She turn around and sat on the chair next to the counter, to drink a glass of water.

She took a sip of water and said, “Fiora made her first move to get revenge on us. She summoned War!”

“The horsemen?!” I fall on my knees to the floor. I can’t believe Fiora would summon that being here. A being who have the power to pass final judgment on anything, especially us humans.

I began to pound the floor in frustration. “We are screwed! WE ARE SCREWED!” Mira came down from the chair and kneel beside me. She began to rub my back. I did not react nor did I say anything because she knows my knowledge of Revelation, but I was not able to read a lot about the four horsemen.

“Deva, there has to be a way to kill War, before she can do anything.”

“…It’s a he, the four horsemen are men.” I wiped my tears of fear.

“Apparently, War is a female!” Mira was surprised at the fact to by the expression she gave. I got up and sat on the couch again. I didn’t look up at anything because I was trying to remember what I read before Mr. Death Scythe rudely interrupted me.

“Darn it! I have to read the bible again.” I got up and headed towards the door, but Mira grabbed my arm.

“Now? Its night time. It is better if we go in the morning.” I had to agree with her because there are guards at Layevan and I saw back down and started to think, but what can I think about? There is no way to kill a horsemen; not that I know of. I sat, still thinking about the horsemen and their lore. “We should relax. We can’t move without knowing the enemy…”

“But all I know is that War is one of the horsemen who rides a red horse. War also have a powerful blade.” I said.

“What is the purpose for that entity, anyways?” Mira asked, but we both left the house. The sky was dark filled with red-blood like lines covering the sky. It meant that War was here.

“To rob the little peace we have.” I wondered my eyes to the sky as Mira continue to walk behind me.

“What do little peace we even have in this city that we have forsaken?”

“The peace that we fight for. The peace that we could create, if we had the chance to.” Doubt filled my heart thinking about what will be once war commence her destruction on us. She will burn many houses, murder so many of my people, all to find those of the Black Paladins. What will happen to Eve if Fiora finds out about her betrayal?

“You can’t go to Layevan at night! Deva let’s just chill for a second.”

“I know…I’m going to look for Eve and Angel. We need to find a way to survive this upcoming of unfortunate events.” Judging by the direction of the sky splitting in half, it must be the beach and I assumed that Eve is somewhere near the beach in which that able her to see it all, to see the arrival of one of the horsemen.

Suddenly a voice called out to me, but I did not see anyone. “Deva!” again I hear the voice and still cannot see anyone. But as I turn my head where Mira was staring into an abandon house, I see a person in the distance with long flowing scarlet hair. I quickly walked over. “Oh hey Minerva!” I said as I try to give her a shake of my hand, she refused.

“What have you done to make Fiora bring out such a being?!” Minerva asked as terror crossed her face. I was stunned to see emotion behind her eyes.

“Don’t blame me! It was…it was Angel who done such an extreme move on Fiora!” I had a hard time admitting the blame, but I could not lie about what Angel did that cause Fiora to become filled with such anger.

Minerva did not say anything back, instead she made us enter the house with all of her stuff on the floor. I looked around and realized she was living here in this dump. “I suggest you come move in with me…” I offered, but she refused as she made me sit near here and so did Mira.

“The Purge might be in a hold because of this situation we are in.” Minerva said. Mira eyes became sleepy, she was almost falling off the seat. “You can stay here for the night…”

“I guess so.” Mira walked towards the bed, but before she reached it, we heard footsteps of a horse.

I ran towards the door to open it. There I see Fiora walking with her guards, but there was this one person who stood tall over everyone, on a red horse with eyes that burn with the flames of the apocalypses. There I knew who was on the horse. It was a sinister lady that rides the horse with a great sword on her back. She looked demonic, almost witch like with bright eyes that match the fire of hell. Her skin looked demonic and o was her hands. She was in an armor that looked as if they were burning, burning with fire. She had hair that almost match her dark skin. “Is that War?!” I quietly asked. Minerva nodded her head which conform it was her. That woman is what will bring chaos to our city.

I felt a powerful vibe that beam out of her, but she did not notice me. She looked bored as Fiora was leading her somewhere. “Weird, I always thought that the red horsemen was a man.” Minerva said.

Mira got up to see what we were looking at. She looked as she spoken something that a usual ten-year-old would say. “Why must it be a man? Our world is dominated by men and therefore we must believe that god and the devil is a male. God could be a women, but we are forced by society that the entity that created this world is a male. Why can’t it be a female? Just because each religion believes that their main god is a male doesn’t automatically amend them as male. None of us who are living do not know that for sure, it something we choose to believe in, but our beliefs are forced by males. I could be wrong, but all of these ideas are just plain sexist to me. Look! Right before your very eyes is a powerful being who is of the female sex.”

“Don’t you find that weird? People chose to believe that so many of the supernatural is male, but they have a reason for that. Yet, our era see them as female…” Minerva replied back to Mira.

“Ah! Can we focus on what we should do about War? This is the real mystery that we need to focus on…how to kill War!” They stopped their conversation once I said it.

“Well our only hope is the bible, but it is safe in the morning to enter the school as always. I suggest you two rest here for the night as we prepare to head there.” Minerva suggested. I agree to stay over. I looked out the windows and notice that they were gone. Where did they go? What will happen to us once War starts to play? I might have trouble sleeping this night, knowing what is about to come.
