We all were outside, where the backyard of the apartment was. Mira took out a spray can and started to spray on the wall. She circle her move, but skipped some spots, leaving it as a weird shaped circle.
"What is she doing?" Seven asked, but I couldn't answer her because I was just as confused.
Mira finally drew the outline, which to me, looked like a skull shape. She started to shade in the outline. "This is our symbol. The symbol for our legion."
Seven nodded her head, "It's only twenty of us, Mira."
"Deva, I think she is into this..." Eve still didn't want to consider the Black Paladins as a rebellion group. "You have to talk to her," but I didn't do anything because I wanted answers, and if we rebel and mention to win, I will force Fiora into telling me what happened before the attack and my father. Maybe, just maybe, I will know how I was given this eye.
"Well, shouldn't we start?" Eve asked. I started to scratch my head, thinking about the plan, but first thing first. "We must disgust our first."
Seven quickly raised her hand, "There these cloths that will go perfectly with the group...give me a thirty minutes." Seven looked at each of use, from head to toe, checked our whist, our feet, and stormed out, running. I watched her as she took her leave. I wondered what she was going to bring, but we stood in the backyard, staring at the skull on the wall. That skull was going to be the start of this group.
"This is going to fast..." Eve said as she sits down on the floor. Everyone stare at her with their eyes. They couldn't believe how paranoid Eve was. Eve is an arch demon and yet, she afraid. She is afraid to rebel against her kin, her sister, and her superior. I study her as she stare down her katana. Eve held it with her shaking hand. I sat next to her, but she didn't turn her head as I look at her. "Eve."
"I never intended this to be a start of a rebellion, but you all truly want blood." Eve lifted her head.
"I told you, this can spark a rebellion and it did."
"But why?" She shook her head.
"The Book of Yeul is not just a regular book, it is the heart of Delaxy, and the Delaxy we once knew. I don't expect you to understand, but we lived here depending on that book to guide us. I have no memory of Yeul or what kind of person she was, but I do know about her teaching from the people around me. Yeul was such a divine person. I heard she was beautiful and smart. Want to know something interesting?"
Eve nodded and said "Yes".
"Yeul was the first survivor of the first Purging, but she did not kill anyone. She watched everyone died in front of her, which devastated her heart. She couldn't believe that the people she loved was gone right before her very own eyes.
"What happened to her?" Eve asked.
"Fiora impaled her and took the corpse in the center of the city for everyone to see. That is how people said that the sky blackened. Yeul was the embodiment of the light that existed in this world.
Seven arrived thirty minutes later with a huge bag of cloths; Seven is a strong women for her age. "Here we go!" Seven smiled as she ripped the bag open. Inside the bag was black clothing. Black hoodie, black cargo pants, black gloves, and something else that caught my attention. There were also bandanas that goes around our mouth, but it have the mouth piece of the skull; cool.
"Cool, I love these clothing!" Angel automatically picked up the cloths and puts it on. He blended in the shadows very well. I looked at Mira who was also putting the hoodie up. She ties that bandana around her mouth.
"I'll go scout the area. Tell me the plan..." Mira took her leave before I can stop her.
"Don't worry, I'll go with her." Eve threw a phone at me and left.
"Guess you're the leader for now. What is the plan?" Seven asked me. I turned around a gather everyone, but I was worried about Mira.
****
"Hey Mira, wait up!" I finally caught up with Mira. I pulled down my hoodie and began, "What been going on with you?"
She ignored as she continue walking, but I stopped her.
"Leave me alone!" She started to sprint away from me. I chase after her, wondering why she acting like this. I never had to deal with a child before. "Leave me alone!"
"Mira!" I ran, but she was too fast for me. She ran passed the church and through the main streets. My heart was pounding fast as I forced myself to run faster. To be honest, I do not even know why I'm that desperate to catch her, but I am.
As we reach the beach, she tripped in front of a guard. The guard was in his coat, staring at the sky, but when he found Mira, he yanked her up. He was so confused on what she was running for.
"What are you doing around here?" The guard shook her, but she was crying.
"Put her down!" I commanded the guard and so he did.
"Oh...I'm sorry, Lady Eve." He bowed his head in respect and I told him to leave.
I walked up to Mira and squatted down. "What is wrong, Mira?"
She wiped her eye and looked at the sky. "I just found out that I am the great granddaughter of Yeul, just a few days ago, but..." She began to sob again. I reached out and gave her a hug.
"Isn't that a blessing?" I asked, but she gave me this worried face that bears fear in it.
"I'm the granddaughter of Yeul, which means I am a messiah...prime enemy of Fiora..." Once I heard the word, messiah, I began shocked, but not at the fact of what she just said, but the fact that I, a antichrist by birth, is her standing in front of a massager, a messiah.
