“Punch left! Punch Right!” I told them. Each group practice on each move I learn from the academy. Punch and kick then kick and punch was the order. I watched them as they had determination in their eyes.
“Kick!” They kicked as high as they could. Some sweat and some went on. Watching them made me realized their true determination. Some weren’t built for battle but they still went on. They want to fight for their vengeance and so I must grant them their wish and turn them into soldiers.
I watched them like a hawk as I tried to choose my victim.
“Think fast!” I threw a punch at one of them but he was to slow and was knocked down to the floor. He was strong with his muscles but was to slow.
“You are strong but not fast enough!” I offered my hands and helped him up. He smiled as he continued on.
I slowly walked between them with a mean glare in my eyes. Slowly and carefully choosing my targets. I spotted this one girl who was fast. Her punch and her kicks outmatched the others as she was the first one to switch. I targeted her.
“Think fast!” I threw a punch but she ducks and spins her legs that caused me to fall hard on the ground. She offered her hand and I got up. “Nice!”
“Awh man! Can’t believe a girl is faster than me…” the same boy said with a frown. I laughed and padded his back for encouragement.
“Just keep on and you can become the quickest!” He nodded and smiled as I continued to walk around.
An hour has pass by since the training have started. Some were too tired and some didn’t want to take a break. I was tired myself, but looking at the determined ones made me feel that I should continue on.
Thirty minutes have pass by and they were finally tired.
“Take a break!” I said as I blew my whistle; First time I used one as a couch.
Some stood outside to walk around and some went inside for a drink. It was safe out since the monster is dead, but I warned them not to go far or head in the direction of Delaxy. I know some of them can go pass the spell since Paradigma gave me that idea. It was the only idea that would make sense. Only non-humans can pass by and yet, they know the things that goes on in Delaxy. Do they have a spy that isn’t a human or something else?
“Deva!” a girl called out to me. It was someone I didn’t know or was in the group for today. She had a long ponytail with a darkish-red to her hair. I thought it was Minerva but Minerva’s hair was purely red. “All the wooden sticks broke…” she said with a frown.
“…I told them to be careful.” I wiped my forehead and looked at her again. “Tell Minerva to craft some more.”
“We ran out of wood to craft some more wooden swords.” She seem nervous when she looked at me. Most of the time she would bow her head as if I was her queen but I giggled. “What? Is there something on my face?” she quickly check her face. My giggle changed into a laugh.
“No its nothing. You just remind me of a little girl that I know.” I said.
“What’s her name?”
“Mira.” Mira sometimes would bow her head when I get mad at her. I admit that sometimes I would scare her a bit but I had to be a mother figure to her. Mira was an orphan like me when she was born. This girl reminded me of her. “What is your name?”
“Kira, ma’am!” she said.
“Well Kira, I guess we are going to find some wood.” I began to walk a little but when I looked back and she stood there with a confused look on her. Her head was tilted a bit with her right hand rubbing the back of her head
