“Here you go…” Saya gave me a long mop, gallons of liquid, and some people to help me clean up the graffiti.
“What are you going to do?” I asked her.
“Fiora is going to hold a public meeting to get to the bottom of this. She very furious about someone messing up her face.” Saya began to laugh out loud and so did I. Saya took her leave into the center of the city where she met up with Fiora. As she left, I called Deva and the crew to discuss about yesterday, but everyone were all over the place, unable for me to call everyone. We were scattered to the point that we did not see each other. Some are hiding and some died, and we won’t know who died yesterday until we all met up. No one picked up the phone, except for Angel.
“Hello?” he said into the phone, but I did not say anything, I was too shy to say anything. What do I say to him? How would any girl react to someone who just kissed them? Do I just act as I always do in front of him? But he kissed me and I just can’t act that he didn’t, but he doesn’t know that I know because I was asleep and so I pretended to speak as if nothing really happen just so nothing will be weird.
“I need help cleaning up.” I said over the phone, but my tone was a bit quiet and shaky.
“Uh, ok I guess…” That response made me know that he wanted to talk about what he did. I began to blush again, but I did not say anything. “That’s it?”
“Oh, yes!” He hanged up on the phone and I stood there with the map. I quickly examine my cloths and hair and came to the conclusion that I looked like I just came from sleeping. I began to sprint in top speed near Mina’s house because it was the closest person I knew. I opened the door wide open with my head sweating from the intense running, I was in a rush to look better.
“Oh! It is you again. What’s up?” Mina asked in a calm voice, even though I came barging in her house.
“I need…need to…I need to look better!” I was tired from all that running. My heart was pumping fast. Mina demanded that I sit down for a bit. Never have I run so fast that it could make me sweat so much, creating a waterfall of sweat.
“First of all, you need to take a bath!” Mina giggled. She went inside a room and handed me soap and a towel and said that she will set up cloths for me in the room. I wondered about the cloths and how it will make me look, but Mina insist that I trust her.
I went inside the bathroom, took of everything, and went inside the shower; it wasn’t quite a shower, it was a pipe that shoot out water in a room. I began to wash my hair, thoroughly, but it took me a while because I have long hair. The water was a bit cold which send me shivering in the coldness, but I did not mind. Minutes later, when I was rubbing my leg with soap, I stop to realize why I’m doing all of this. My heart was warm again and I kept on smiling, but I could not control this feeling I have never experience before.
For some reason it does when Angel crosses my mind. All I saw right now, in my mind, was his laughter, his bright smile that brightens the day, his hair that shines even in the night, and how he is always good to me. He always makes me smile every time I stare into his beautiful eyes.
I had a big smile as I continue to rub soap on my breasts. As I did, I started to rub my scar that reminded me about the day Fiora gave me this scar. I was thirteen at the time when Fiora and I had the fight. I was in the room of Saya where Fiora came in. At that time Fiora was not like how she is, now. Fiora was much quiet at the time, where Saya was more of a leader than now.
