Memories of the forest occurred in my head. I sat on my bed with the complete puzzle on my lap. I finally finished it, but I wasn’t near satisfied. I wanted to know what my puzzle was.

Suddenly, I received a knock on the door.

“Who is it?” I asked as I tossed the puzzle to a side.

“I need to ask you something…” a voice pierced through the door, unusually calm and soft. I soon realized that it was Fiora with her head pointed down. Her eyes looked sleepy and was kicking the ground as she waited.

“What do you want?”

For some reason, I found it strange that Fiora had no emotion on her face. Her eyes were dry, her mouth didn’t move and she stood straight up, as her eyes were on me.

“I just want to ask you something.” She softly mentioned again.

I slowly opened the door. I took a few steps back and my blade was a few inches away. I examined her as I noticed she slowly walked in with her arms behind her.

Suddenly, she threw herself towards me, but I rolled next to my books and quickly grabbed my blade. Once I pointed my blade at her, I found her on top of my bed, as she sucked on her thumb.

“Umm…Fiora?”

She quietly laid flat on my bed. She quickly pulled out her thumb and sat straight up. “Sorry, I just can’t take it anymore! There so much to do! I have this conspiracy about the basement of my academy being a church! A student of the academy is missing, still don’t about my lover’s murder, and now I’m having withdrawn since I am a succubus that haven’t had any-…”

“Ew! No! Keep that to yourself.” I blurred out while I placed my blade on the corner of my room.

A succubus like her are quite the strangest ones. She need to make love in order to have her strength, but she finally felt butterflies in her stomach. She met a man that would have filled her face with sunshine, and she would have had the biggest grin on her face. Her eyes would have opened as wide as the sky and her hair would have danced slowly in the wind, as the man grabbed her hand and waist and moved her around in harmony.

“What was his name?” I asked as I slightly turned my head towards her. She sat there while playing with her fingers. Her thumbs rubbed each other from left to right.

Her mouth didn’t move for a few seconds, but then she let out a huge giggle. “His name was Adam!”

“Well! There you go!” I couldn’t help, but to released a faint giggle, once I remembered the small joke that Fiora made while I eaten an apple.

Fiora’s laughter soon faded away. She placed her thumb on her mouth and put on a hard gaze. Her eyes were directed at the ceiling.

“Yeah…I should do that.” She mumbled and stormed out of the room.

She must have figured out something, but what? What was Fiora thinking? Something that will cure her withdraws or something that would take care of her problems with the city? A sudden heat appeared in my forehead and my hands began to sweat at the thought of Fiora.

**

To be honest, I’ve done nothing this past year. All I done since Deva disappeared was to sit down and listened to the hooded man. I spent my days just sitting and wondered about Deva and her past. Her past was complex and I felt that there was a purpose to it, there must have been a purpose for Fiora to take a dramatic action towards Eva. Fiora must have plotted something and my sister allowed it to happen.

Saya stood there and watched Fiora drown Eva’s throat with the demon liquid that transformed Eva into a demon. I could have saved her, if I wasn’t scouting ahead. I don’t remember what I was thinking. I was lost. I blindly followed Fiora and my sister, but Fiora was the one who wanted to strike the city of Delaxy and soon called it Purge Souls.
