everyone was singing and dancing. this was the best party ever! everyone knew everyone and we were all mostly friends.

the punch that was in my mouth was spit out, along with the rest of the liquid that was in my cup. I run to a table and begin playing the same beat as the song. some people joined me and it was awesome.

I've got my ticket for the long way round. two bottles of whiskey for the way. and I sure would like some sweet company and I'm leavin' tomorrow what do you say?

that song always gets me happy and energetic. whenever I'm having a bad day, this is one of the songs I listen to. .. but I haven't really had that many bad days. like maybe two or three.. a year.. or two.?

when was the last time I had a bad day?

well I suppose it was the day when Jeanette asked me to come to her 'Most Spectacular Birthday Queen Pool Party Bash of the Summer'.

I don't understand the name at all but with Jeanette it could mean anything. there were endless possibilities to that kind of party it was.

I used every excuse I could think of.

'I'm already doing something that day'

'I have plans'

'my grandparents are coming to town'

'it's my sister's birthday'

'my brother broke his arm and I have to help him out'

'family is coming to visit'

'skiing trip in Miami'

'my friends invited me to a sleep over'

'movie night'

'homework'

'tumbling practice'

'cheerleading tryouts'

'softball game'

'soccer tournament'

'brother's football game'

'annual family vacation'

I tried everything! but it always ended out in her saying..

'just cancel'

'I'm sure your sister won't mind if you're gone. she's gonna be distracted by all her friends anyways'

'your grandparents can wait another day'

'geez why do you do so many sports?!'

Gosh. Jeanette's not even here right now and I feel like punching her.

two arms wrap around my waist from behind and I don't even notice until he squeezes.

I jump a little and he laughs.

"sorry. I didn't mean to scare you" he says.

"it's okay"

"what were you thinking about?"

"what?"

"you were thinking about something before I came. what was it?"

"oh, ya know. I was thinking of ways to murder Jeanette and make it look like suicide"

"nothing new. that's good"
