chapter 62

Niall's POV.

how could they kick me out!?

she's my baby.

my angel.

my everything.

i need her.

she makes me strong.

and right now i need to be strong.. for her. 

Lizzy's POV.

it's killing me to see him sit outside.

i'm unable to see him. and he's unable to see me.

it's the worst torture ever. 

the doctors stuck me with many needles. it hurt, but not as much as not being able to see his face.

i need him in here.

i need him to hold my hand and tell me it's going to be okay.

i need him to be strong.

Harry's POV.

i walk into the kitchen and find Liam and Louis talking. i ignore them and grab a bananna. 

i love that Lizzy likes banannas too. i begin to walk away from them but Louis calls me.

"what?" i turn to face them.

"which tie should i wear for my date with Jennifer?"

he held up two ties. the one dangling from his left hand was his favorite silk burgandy tie and in dangling from his right hand was a saphire tie.

"she was wearing burgandy when we met" he hold up the burgandy tie. "but Lizzy told me that Jen's favorite color is saphire" he hold up the saphire tie. 

i cover my eyes and spin around. i hold my arm out in front of me. i stop spining and point in front of me. i open my eyes and my finger is pointing directly at the saphire tie. "saphire" i say simply and walk out of the room, peeling my bananna. 

"thanks!" i hear louis say. he mutters something to liam but i choose to ignore it and mmunch on my bananna. 

i go back to my room and close the door. i sit on my bed and check my phone. i go to Lizzy's contact and stare at our previous messages. 

i ache to talk to her again. she's irrisistable. she's prefect. she's my drug. 

i actually think of calling her, just to hear her voice. but i would have to have a damn good explination. especially because she think's i gave her Niall's phone number. 

Liam barges into my room and he looks scared. 

i sit up on my bed and stare at him. when he doesn't say anything i speak. "what!?"

"Lizzy's in the hospital" he says. he takes a step back with every word. i think he might be afraid of me.. but that's not important right now. 

i think my heart stopped beating for a few seconds. "where is she?"

"she's in the hospital" he says confused.

"which hospital, dumbass!"

"oh. st. Lukes" 

i push my self off my bed and i pick up my shoes and slip them on. i grab my car keys and get out the door in less than thiry seconds. i push past liam and run the enitre way to the parking lot. to the front door, to the elevator, through the lobby, to my car. i get in my car and bring the engine to life. i speed my way to St. Lukes hospital and park as close to the entrance as possible without getting towed. 

i run from my car to the entrance and i stop at the desk with an old lady and a bunch of young nurses.

the young nurses act like thirteen year olds as they flip their hair and bat their eyes. one of them even shoves her boobs in my face. i push her away and look at the old woman that is scowling at the young nurses. they're obviously ammatures while she has been doing the job for half her life. 

"I need to know which room Lizzy James is in" i say.

"Lizzy or Elizabeth?" she asks with a raised eyebrow. 

"what?" i ask. how did she know about her? is this a test? is Christina watching me? 

"two fellows came in here a few days ago checking in a Lizzy James but her real name is Elizabeth so we kept having to change the names and everyone was confused and it was a mess"

"okay. so which name is she put down as?"

she types something on the key board in front of her. "Lizzy James is in room 213" she says.

i thank her and make my way down the hallway to her room. 

which two fellows is she talking about? 

I'm almost sure that one of them is Niall because he most likely was with her when it happened, sinse he won't let her out of his sight. and the other one is most likely Zayn because i haven't seen him for a few days. 

If Zayn and Niall are in the room with her when i arrive, shit is going to go down.

Niall wants me no where near Lizzy and Zayn probably thinks it's best if i stay away from her. 

"what the hell is he doing here!?" i hear Niall before i see him. 

i look around the hallway and sure enough Zayn is holding Niall back so he can't run up to me and attempt to hit me when in reality, i could kill him. 

"I'm here to see Lizzy" i say. 

"well she doesn't want to see you!"

"chill. i just want to make sure she's okay"

"she's fine. you can go now"

"i care about her just as much as you do. stop acting like a prick"

"if you really cared you would've been here three days ago when it happened! but instead, i was here. you don't care about her. you're just going to use her and dump her. you're going to treat her like trash! you don't deserve her! she's happy with me"

"watch your mouth. unexpected things might happen. and anyways, i don't care what you think"

"she doesn't want you here"

"she can speak for herself" i walk over to the door and put my hand on the handle.

"they'll never let you in there"

"who?"

"the snobby nurses" he says with disgust.

"she's my girlfriend and they kicked me out. they're definitely not going to let you in" 

the way he says 'my and you' i can tell he's mocking me.

"we'll see" i say. 

i walk in and one of the nurses turns to me. she shakes her head, "you can't be in here" she begins pushing me back out the door. 

"she's my sister. i have to be in here" 

she shakes her head and sighs. "i had to have the other guy out there escorted out of here because he kept going crazy. if you do the same, i will kick you out"

"i understand. i just need to see her"

"just don't get in the way" she walks away and helps one of the other nurses check her blood pressure.

i walk to the corner of the room and sit in one of those uncomfortable chairs, watching her intensly. making sure to never take my eyes off her. waiting for the moment when all of the nurses are done checking up on her to make sure she's okay, so they will clear the room and i will be left alone with her.

maybe she will understand me, once and for all.
