chapter 85

(third person) 

Lizzy lays in the giant basket and pretends to cry like a baby, but fails and starts to laugh. 

Amanda laughs too as she leans over the basket. "oh look.. a man cub" she stiffles a laugh and drags the basket across the stage where Terranece, Marissa, Jerry, Rob, Danny and jake are laughing and pretending to be wolves. 

amanda leaves the basket and runs away while laughing. 

she waits a few seconds, then runs back over to the basket and kicks it then runs away again as soon as lizzy screams and pretends to cry.

Jerry, Rob, Danny and Jake run over to her and look at her while trying not to laugh. Rob leans over her and starts tickling her making everyone laugh more. 

(Lizzy's POV.)

Terrence and marissa run over to us and smile at me. they pick up the basket by the handles and swing it back and forth. i scream and laugh, afraid that they're going to drop me. 

they set me down on the ground and i get out and pretend to be a baby wolf and play with jerry, rob, danny and jake.  

"Next scene!" ms. heffer yells.

Amanda runs out on stage in her panther costume and i laugh but follow her. we climb up our fake make shift tree. when i can't get up, she puts her hand on my butt and pushes up. we laugh at each other and we finally get up on the branch sturdy enough to hold us. 

she pretends to sleep while Emily, attatched to strings/floating in the air being held up by wires, wraps a green rope around me and opens her mouth really wide as if she were about to eat me. "KAA!" Amanda screams and smacks Emily, making her drop the rope. 

Emily glares at her and the stage crew boys throw her a new rope and i pick it up and throw it off the branch. the guys handling the wires loosen them, making emily float to the ground. she pretends to fall and she runs away. 

"Next!" 

me and amanda jump down from the branch and Trey, Chloe, Jerry, Zayn, Liam and jake crawl on the stage in a straight line, wearing all grey, fake tails attatched to the butts and a head piece with big floppy ears and a fake trunk. 

i go right behind Jerry, who is at the end of the line, and follow them. we crawl forward a few steps then they stop and i run into jerry. we turn around, crawl a few steps then turn aorund again. Trey inspects the 'elephants' until he gets to me then starts yelling. 

"woah, woah. colenel hathi! this man cub is mine. leave him be!" emily says in a deep voice, laughing at the end. 

Trey keeps a serous face. "then get him out of my herd!" 

"i'm a her" i whisper and it breaks trey's serious face causing him to laugh. 

"okay" amanda laughs, grabbing my arm and pulling me away. "it won't happen again" 

we walk away laughing.

"Next!"

as i sit, leaning in a fake prop boulder, harry struts on by in his baloo costume singing to a tune. 

"it's a doo-bi-dee-doo. yes, it's a doo-bi-dee-doo. yeah it's a doo-bee-doo-bee-doo-bee-doo-bee-doo-bi-dee-doo" he carelessly sings. "and with- heeyy!" he looks at me with a smile. "well now" he laughs and leans down, squating by my side. "what have we here?" he wiggled his eyebrows, earning a giggle from me. 

but then i remeber my character is supposed to be angry at this scene so i keep my straight face. 

he sniffs the air around me. "hey! what a funny little bit of a-" i cut him off by swiping my hand across his nose in a childish manner. 

"go away" i mutter. 

he stands up and rolls his eyes, rubbing his nose. "boy i've seen everything in these woods.. my what a pretty thing this is" he grins. 

i roll my eyes and turn so my back is facing him. "leave me alone" 

"well now.." he sits behind me and pats my back. "that's pretty big talk little britches" 

"well atleast my britches are bigger than yours" i whisper to him, making fun of his overly tight pants that he insists are not too small. "i'm big enough" i say and stand, lightly punching at his stuffed bear stomach, sticking to the script in my head. 

"tsk. tsk. tsk. pitiful" he shakes his head and picks me up with his large hands on my sides, my feet no longer on the ground. "now kid, ole baloo is gonna teach you how to fight like a bear" 

"come on, i'm gonna show ya" he starts moving like a boxer and throwing punches at the air while quietly growling. i mimic his actions and we laugh at each other. i'm sure it looked really weird, considering he was in an oversized bear costume and i looked half naked in a guy's body suit while we wresled with the air.. yeah it was deffinitely weird. 

we laughed at each other and just had fun with it. i knew it was the right part for harry. 

"alright kid, now loosen up a little" he wiggles his arms like a work. "now start to weave a little" he puts his hands on his hips and moves them in a circular motion with a grin on his face. he was just having too much fun with this. "now give me a big bear growl" he stands in front of me. "scare me!" 

i crincle my nose and show my teeth. "grr" i say weekly, like a child. 

he towers over me with disappointment from his character. "tsk. tsk. tsk" he shakes his head. "oh boy" he says to no one. 

"no i'm talking about like a big bear! AARRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!" he growls at me, it came out as a manly scream with some grit.. but it matched baloo. he did it again and i couldn't help but laugh and he joined me. he growls again, but with not as much power from the laughing. 

emily ran out on stage and started sighing. "oh no, it's baloo!" she exclaimed then dropped to the floor. 

me and harry shruggedd at her, skipping some lines and immediately going to the song. 

"now listen up little britches, all you have to do is.. " he claps his hands and slaps his knee. "look for the.. bare nescessities. forget about your worry and your strife" he sings and i silently laugh before being my nosy character and asks him questions as he sings until it's my part to sing with him. everyone stares at us in awe and once the song is over i look at them with confusion until it sinks in.. i just sang.. in front of people.

wooowwwww. sorry guys, that it took me so long to update this chapter.. i've really just been working on it little by litte, until i told myself that i had to finish it because i was postponing it too long. so i watched jungle book again and used that to help my finish this because i really couldn't have done this chapter without watching that movie again so.. hope you liked it. but more of kind of just a sweet filler of what harry does to lizzy. he makes her forget about her fears in the moment, but then once she realizes what happened she gets a lot more coming to her and it might just make her shut down.. but then again.. harry is the one who caused her to forget about her fears, so he will be the one to snap her out of it and show her that it's all okay. :) oh gosh. i love him so much! and i hope you guys do too! xoxo. ~ shelby
