"well this is awkward" Jackson's abnoxiousness broke the silence the ah was going on for a about.. five minutes. give or take a few.

"really? I hadn't noticed" I say

"yeah. everyone has been dead silent except for Chloe's sister over there"

"huh?"

"you listen to hot chelle ray?!!!" Jeanette screamed "you're even more attractive now" she purred and Jackson got up and walked over to the couch. he picked up my feet and sat down then put my feet back where they were. he clutched my legs as if they were the safety bar on a rollercoaster.

"awwe. when are you gonna be better?" Emily cooed into the phone.

"are you at least feeling better?"

"good!" she chirped.

she giggled. I know that laugh. at our school emily usually hangs out with the 'bad boys'. i think she's dated almost every 'bad boy' in the entire school. that might be why she's jacob.. cause there's no more 'men' left. but no matter how many guys she's dated, she always giggles like a little girl when a guy says something 'naughty' to her.

"oh, is he with you right now?"

"you guys can come over if you want. we just ordered pizza"

"great! see you in a little while"

"love you" she said and she kissed the phone.

"that's so unsanitary" Jackson grimaced

"whatever. when you get a girlfriend she'll do the same thing and you won't be saying that then"

".. yes I will"

"whatever"

"how long have you guys been dating?" I ask.

"uhh..  two weeks.?"

"and you're already saying 'I love you'?"

"yea" duh. Emily says 'I love you' on the first date.

"I love you" Josh said looking down at me with a big smirk on his face.

"now don't you start!"

"okay" he frowned and looked away.

"when is the pizza gonna be here?" Jackson groaned

ding, dong

Emily squealed and ran downstairs. me, Amanda, Jen and Josh followed her, taking our time.

she stopped just before the door and checked her reflection at the mirror hanging on the wall.

she quickly fixed her hair and rubbed her lips together. she checked her smile, winked at herself then opened the door.

"yup. her and zayn will be perfect for each other" Amanda said

me and Jennifer laughed while Josh didn't say anything, he just shook his head. ever since Emily mentioned the back stage passes Josh hasn't talked.. other than him asking for me to always be his.

Emily threw the door open and Jacob smiled at her. she jumped into his arms, hugging him for a minute then they're started making out.

someone behind Jacob cleared their throat.

Jacob and Emily didn't move.

he cleared his throat again..

they still didn't move.

I pushed past them and welcomed the guy in.

"you do remember he's sick right?" the guy says and Emily shrugged, not breaking the kiss.

"how can anyone hold their breath that long?" he said still focused on them.

"with Emily, anything is possible" I say and he smiles.

"same with Jacob. anyways, I'm hunter, and you are?" he bit his lip lightly.

"I'm L- "

"she's taken" Josh buds in and wraps his arms around me from behind.

"woah, down boy. I mean No harm" he said and he winked at me.

"I know you, hunter. just stop"

"so I can't know the beautiful girl's name?"

"Li-" I began to say.

"No"

"can I speak?!" I say pushing Josh off me.

"I'm Lizzy" I say as I extend my arm to him.

he shook my hand and smiled.

"very nice to meet you Lizzy"
