"That ass though!" Someone says next to me.

I slightly look over at him and just shake my head.

"August you always playing around" I say laughing.

"What's good?" He ask.

"Nothing much about to go study for Cantillo test want to join me?" I ask.

"Yeah why not I ain't doing much right now".

"I need a club to join but I have no idea what to do" I say.

"What about dance ? You used to love it when we was younger" August says.

"I don't think I'm flexible like that anymore what you think about student government".

"That fits you do that Ary".

We get upstairs and start studying. Looking over at August I notice he gain some muscle and looking good. Focusing on studying has become tougher.

"You going to keep staring or say something?" August ask catching me off guard.

"I uh wasn't staring".

He chuckles, "Aryanna I saw you but I don't mind baby, I'm getting fit ain't I?" He ask.

"Yeah you are actually not that skinny anymore Aug".

"How's Odell treating you?" He ask.

"Good he's really been treating me like a queen" I say smiling.

"Good , I know we aren't close like that anymore but I care about you Ary you still mean the world to me" He says placing his hand on top of mine.

The biggest smile grows on my face. "So do I August, I want you to be happy I think you and Ro should start dating...".

"We been getting mad close I'm just waiting for the right moment to ask her out." He says.

"Aw that's great Aug" I say genuinely happy for him.

After a few hours of studying my brain is tired of reading over notes. I text Toya and Ro telling them meet me at my dorm for some girl talk.

"We better pass this damn test cause I don't think I can retain anymore information after all that studying we did" I say getting up.

"For real man shit was too much material" August says.

"Thanks for studying with me best friend I'm gonna head back to my dorm now".

"I'll walk you back Ary" August says.

"Thanks".

"Appreciate it August" I say smiling.

"Anytime Ary" He says pulling me into a hug.

A few minutes later there's a knock at the door. I open it and see the girls with snacks. "I was going to order pizza but y'all brought the whole campus store with y'all" I say laughing.

"Girls night always needs snacks!" Ro exclaim.

"Come on in ladies".

"So what's the tea?" I ask sitting on my bed.

"I met this dude name Zaire" Ro says.

"Oh really! What about young August?" I ask.

"Well we actually talking more and more he my little baby" Ro says sounding like August.

"I can tell you've hanged around him a lot" I say laughing.

"So you trying to get with D , August and this new guy?" Toya ask.

"Uhh not tonight Toya" I say.

"Thank you Ary" Ro says.

"So what do you guys think about having a boyfriend but still fucking around with someone who has interest in them?" Toya ask.

I look at her then at Royalty. Lowkey sounds like shots thrown at me. "Um... It happens" I say.

"I don't know shit feeling are crazy shit plus we're girls so are fucking hormones be running high" Ro says.

"I mean sometimes you have somebody but then you get lonely but you can't fuck with just anybody" I say.

"Hmm who you talking about Ary?" Toya ask.

"Toya be real you talking about August and I talking again... Like we cool shit happened like why you bringing that shit up again?" I ask.

"I just want to know so poor little Ro heart don't get broken".

Bitch please I think to myself. "Ro ain't got nothing to worry about I'm happy where I'm at if I wanted to be with August we would be together right now not Odell and I" I say.

"I see the way he looks at you" Toya says.

"Just drop that Toya she said they got nothing going on plus Ary and him are best friends who am I to meddle?" Ro says.

"Thank you Royalty cause Toya doesn't seem to understand that" I say.

"Have you had sex with Odell yet or August?" Toya ask.

I almost choke on my damn drink hearing that. "Girl first it's none of your business whom I had sex with but I have never had sex with August and I don't plan too".

"So you and Odell had sex ! Oh my gosh! Girl what was it like?".

"Can we change the subject ?" I ask.

"Agreed" Ro says.

"Y'all lame!" Toya says.

"You just nosey and messy Toya" I say.

"Agreed again" Ro says laughing.

"I miss my baby" I say pouting.

"You guys are goals just to let you know that promise ring is amazing" Ro says.

"Right shit if that's the promise ring I can't wait to see the damn proposal ring" Toya says.

"Our wedding is going to be lit of course! You two have to be my brides maids, Toya you can't be messy that night though" I say laughing.

"I'll try not to be" she says with a sinister grin.

Toya be messy on purpose this chick has nothing better to do I'm starting to believe. Our chat goes from school to boys we talking about everything underneath the sun. It's a good night.
