The picture spread like wildfire across the campus. Everyone knew how our crew was and who was with who. The stares and laughs I've been getting is beyond embarrassing. I can't believe August and Ary would do this. I don't even want to imagine how Odell feels.

I guess it's back to solo Royalty. Dance season is over, school is almost out, just a couple of more weeks and I'll be out of here for summer.

"Royalty!" I turn around and see Aliyah. "Hey." I say dryly. "What's up girl? I haven't seen you in a few days."

"Not much. You?"

"Lil bit of this and that. I heard about August and Ary."

"Apparently everyone has."

"I mean but did you really like him like that? I heard you and Darrien have a pretty history." I roll my eyes, "Who's telling you any of this?"

"I have my sources. Word on the street also is Dell and Ary are done with."

"Your point of telling me is what? Do I look like I care what anyone else is going through?"

"Damn Ro I thought she was your friend."

"I thought she was too. I have some studying to do. Bye." I walk off before she can say anything else. Who does she think she is? Wendy Williams.

I walk inside the library and head to the top floor. It's normally empty up there and that's just the way I need it.

"Ro." Someone whispers. It's Gerald from the basketball team. "What's up?" He says hugging me. "Not much. You?" I ask as the elevator moves up. "So I know bout your situation and I was wondering if I could take you out and you know.. Do some fun things to take your mind off that old nigga."

"Ha. Thanks but no thanks G. I'm cool on any guy for a while."

"I get it. Call me if you ever change your mind." He says passing me a piece of paper with his number on it. "Alright."

I walk over to a table and sit down. I see a text from Chi.

Malachi: I'm coming up there.:

:For what Chi?" I text back. Malachi: To jaw that nigga.:

:We weren't that serious Chi. How did you even hear about that?:

Malachi: I told you I know everything.:

:Okay but I don't need you coming up here. I'm done with guys for a while. Lesson learned.:

Malachi: at least you finally came to your sense. Niggas ain't nothing but trouble. I should know, I am one.:
