"What's up Ro?" I turn and look, "Hey Jamal." I head upstairs to the conference rooms. As soon as I get off the elevator I see Toya. "What up Ro? Odell went to go get the key." I nod my head, "Cool and hey."

We walk inside the conference room. "Let's get this over with. Smith is killing me." Odell says sitting down. "He doesn't too much. Like just give me my A and let me go." Toya says laughing. "Exactly. But we're suppose to be testing over chapters 6-10. Six is pretty easy. I made an outline."

"Let me see it." Toya says. "I already made y'all some copies." I reach inside my folder and pass it to them. "Thanks!"

"You're welcome."

As we sit there and read over chapter 7, I get a text.

August: Can we re-do last week and try again tomorrow?: I smile, :Yes. I'd like that.: "August?" Toya asks. "Yeah." I say sitting my phone back down.

We finish studying and head back to our rooms. It's been a long day but hopefully studying will help us pass the test tomorrow.

"How did you do?" I ask Odell. "It was hard but it wasn't as hard as it could've been." He says, "Aye what you think bout Aliyah?" He asks. "Still filling her out." I bite into my apple, "You?"

"Same."

We walk inside the student center. "What's up y'all?"

"What's good?"

"Hey y'all!" Aliyah says sitting at the table. I assume her around is normal now. "Hey... Aug."

"What's up baby girl?" I seriously love the way he says that. "I need like $2 dollars for this chickFilA sandwich."

"You just want a sandwich?"

"It'll do."

"Let's go get the whole meal."

"I'm not trying not to use up all your cash." He waves me off, "Come on." I get up and we walk over to the line.

"You the real MVP."

"Yeahhhhhh you know bae." I slightly feeling myself blushing. I'd feel more if I wasn't smiling so hard. "What's up with that?"

"What's up with you acting like you didn't like it?"

"Ha! Thanks for the food Aug."

"Anytime Ro."

We go sit back down at the table. "You two are too cute." Aliyah says smiling. I give her a smile back then put my mayo on my sandwich. "When you start going here?" August asks. "I just transferred last year. Best decision I ever made... Where you from?"

"Here. Where you from?"

"Texas. Dallas to be exact." Aliyah says. "Ay D!" Odell calls out. "What's up y'all? What's good Ro."

"Hi Darrien." Everyone looks at me in shock except August. "They cool now." Aug says. "Ohhhhh."

I shake my head laughing. "Anyway. Thanks for the food Aug."
