chapter 11

Demi POV

I went downstairs and grabbed a orange juice I wasnt too hungry. I sat on the couch and looked at my wrist and remembered what happened last time. I didnt care who knew anymore I just wanted to cry for being so disgusting. I sighed feeling uncomfortable so I got up and grabbed my sweater and phone and went for a walk. The wind was amazing and so was the weather. I walked through the streets of Dallas. I walked into ernies guitar shop.

"hey demi long time no see" selena says shes the clerk and somewhat a friend. We dont talk much shes really beautiful though.

"yea hey busy with college and stuff. Im just gonna look around" I said smiling and she nodded. A few minutes later people were shouting and I heard camera clicks. I turned around as a blonde boy and curly hair boy walked through the doors. They looked really familiar I turned back around ignoring them and there was a magazine on the wall. I looked at the picture then at the two boys continuously until I processed that those were the boys on the magazine.

"excuse me" the blonde boy said and I snapped out of my thoughts

"oh im sorry" I said moving aside and looking at the other guitars around

"I like acoustic better than electric. That one looks good" the blond one said and he had an accent an Irish one.

"yea me too. Its nice but im just looking thanks though" I said smiling at him

"im niall by the way" he said extending his hand out and I shook it hesitantly. I released my hand and put my hair behind my ear.

"im demi nice to meet you" I said shyly he smiled and I smiled back. My phone rang and I picked it up

"excuse me. Hello?" I turned away from niall

"im at the guitar shop mom dont need to worry ok yea im coming."I said closing the phone and turning back around.

"sorry but I have to go" I said about to leave but niall called me

"can I have your number maybe we can meet up sometime" he said with his cheeks red. He is cute and looks like a nice guy so I gave him my number. I walked out but it was hard because of the paparazzi.  I got pushed back into the store. How was I suppose to get out now!

"here ill help you" he said putting out his hand and I hesitantly held it. He smiled and walked through the door holding my hand and his arm around my shoulders while they all spat questions. whos the girl? are you dating?

Niall ignored their questions and we reached his car. I was too scared to say anything so I let him drive me home. I told him the directions and he followed. We talked alittle and find out im his age.We arrived at my house and I was now comfortable around niall which does not happen often with me around boys.

"thanks. Do you wanna come in?" I asked taking off my seatbelt

"I would love to but I left my friend at the store maybe next time" we both laughed cause we forget we left the other guy at the store poor him stuck with the paparazzi. I nodded and got out the car.

"thanks" I said one more time and walked to my house and waved goodbye to niall as he drove away. the smile wouldnt leave my face. Theres something about niall that just makes me smile. I sigh and walk into the house with the smile

"Demi why didnt you tell me you were going?" my mom asked but the smile never faded

"sorry I just needed air" I said and took my sweater off.

"whats with the smile?" dallas asked and I shook my head but my mom insisted I tell

"ok I met this guy at the guitar shop and we talked he seems like a nice guy and I dont know I like him" I finished and they both smiled. Dallas hugged me and my mom smiled at me

"well that boy must have been special if he made you smile" my mom said and I nodded smiling

"um im going to go my mom just called" we turned our attention to the person speaking. It was joe.

"oh ok sweetie thank you" my mom said hugging him he didnt even look at me which hurt. ok this is getting too complicated and everyone keeps messing with me and my feelings and I dont know what he wants.

"Im going to talk to joe" I said and they both nodded. I went out the door with my sweater and joe was at his house door almost going in

"joe!" I yelled and he turned around and closed his door. I ran to his house until I was face to face with him.

"I need to talk to you now" I said

"I cant" he said

"well you have to cause if I dont say it now I wont be able to ever say it" he nodded and opened the door

"ill be right back mom" he said and shut the door. We both walked to the park and sat down. He looked at me waiting for me to say something.

"joe im sorry that I was mean to you. Im not used to be around boys and I came off rude and im sorry. yes I cut but thats my personal reason. I just need another chance to be your friend cause I hate when other people hate me. I just wish ugh!" I screamed in frustration I breathed out and put my hand on my hip looking at him.

"alright lets just forget everything and just be friends alright calm down" he said putting his hand on my shoulder I tensed up and shrugged his hands off me. I didnt like when boys touched me. I looked and joe and he looked hurt I wanted to say something but it wouldnt come out so I sighed to release tension from my body maybe then ill talk

"im sorry I dont like it when someone touches me. Just give me time to get used to you being around me" I said and he nodded.

"lets go" he said turning around and I sighed happily walking next to him in the park.

"you know sterling has a crush on you" he said and I widened my eyes I stopped in my tracks. Really now I have another problem.

"what?" he asked turning around I smacked his arm.

"no he can't dont joke about it! I cant he cant no!" I was literally screaming

"ok calm down talk to him tomorrow now lets go its getting late" he said walking away and I didnt realize so I ran after him.
