Chapter 12

Joe POV

I woke up to someone calling my name I opened my eyes and jumped back. It was demi

"what the hell?! what are you doing here?" I asked shocked and she looked at me confused

"we sort of live together. Now get up we have to take lizzy to the doctor" she said as she moved around the room and now it was my time to get confused.

"who the hell is lizzy?" I asked and demi turned around and shook her head at me

"joe I know you guys arent on good terms but shes your daughter she feels bad but dont act like you dont know her. now get up!" she said throwing my clothes at me

"I have a daughter!" I screamed and she gasped at me

"joe! joe joe joe joe joe" she was playin like a broken record and I woke up. what the hell was that?!

"joe are you alright your all sweaty" my mom asked and I nodded. it was just a dream

"well come down we have a surprise for you and demi" she said smiling huge and before I got to say or ask anything she left. I sighed and got up taking a shower. I got dressed and headed downstairs I saw a note with my breakfast

"im going to demis house finish it up and come over there" I read as I ate my breakfast I finished it quickly and ran to her house knocking on her door. Demi opened the door

"do you know where my mom is?" she asked worried and I got confused

"no my mom said she was over here and that she has good news for both of us" I walked in shutting the door we went to the living room and I saw this blonde dude sitting on the couch

"oh this is niall my friend and niall this is joe my other friend" she smiled while introducing us and we shook hands I sat on the couch across from him and demi sat next to him. I was hurt she didnt sit next to me we sat in silence waiting for our moms to come. I looked down and suddenly I heard demis laughter I looked up she had her hand on nialls shoulder and niall was looking at her laughing too. My blood boiled I stood up

"im going to the bathroom" I informed them but they were too busy laughing. I went in there smiled did the macaraena and walked out. When I went outside I saw demi and niall dangerously close. I was about to say something but the doorbell rang. They both snapped out of it and demi blushed I balled up my fist but went to open the door.

"ok we got it demi come on!" dallas said once I opened the door. I went outside demi can come out herself but if she doesnt then shes deaf.

"oh my god" demi screamed and I looked back she came and stood next to me squeezed my arm and looked at the surprise in the driveway

"ow losing feeling"i said feeling numb on my right arm

"sorry" she said running to her mom and hugging her. it was blue and it was a car. It was a really nice car if I do say so myself.

"isnt it great look how happy she looks" my mom said and I looked at her she was happy and my anger melted away.

"joe lets go for a drive. come on niall" demi said getting in the car as I walked alongside niall who had caught up to me. I got in the back seat while niall took the front. I really should control my emotions its not like im gonna live for that long and nobody would love a guy that could die any moment. if niall likes demi and demi likes niall then who am I to stop them. I sit back and enjoy the smooth ride

"how cool is this?!?!" demi exclaimed

"very cool im happy for ya now u can take me places" niall said which made demi giggle

"your famous u already have a driver" she said

"but hes not beautiful" niall said and silence took over

"so demi likin it?" I asked to break the awkwardness she just nodded as she drove up to the driveway. We all got out and I started feel like there was a pressure on my heart and I knew what was coming I said goodbye to demi and I took a cab to the hospital as it got harder to breathe my face got redder. I got out fumbling with everything

"lin-lindsay" I said as I collapsed.

Demis POV

Joe left pretty quickly and niall stayed. We were in our room just talking.

"ive wanted to sing ever since I was a kid its just something ive wanted to do" he says as we were leaned back on my headboard of my bed I smile as he says that.

"ive wanted to sing too its just some thing thats been there for me a long time. I've never wanted to do it professionally I just want to help people and make them smile even if its just for a tiny second" I said squinting my eyes and holding my thumb and pointer fingers to show the amount

"yea" niall says softly and I look at him. His eyes are blue and different their interesting. I look away as I realize what im doing. I get off my bed not believing what I was about to do. Before I knew it tears started to fall.

"can you please leave" I told him while trying to control myself. I felt his hands on my arms as he brought them down

"hey im sorry" he said trying to hug me

"get off get off" I said as I fell to the floor and going to the corner and huddling there. I shook as I shut my eyes and staying there praying he leaves.

"demi honey relax" my mom said and I looked up at her shaking and she hugged me

"its alright shh" she said rubbing my arms. I calmed down and started breathing normally.

"get some sleep we will talk tomorrow" she said helping me in bed. She shut the light as she was about to leave I called her.

"thanks mom for the car and just now" I said and she smiled at me walking out. I probably just blew every chance I had with niall. It happened this morning but i didnt have time to reacr. Why am I so awkward around boys. Anyways he probably thinks im a creep and its impossible for a guy like him to have a crush on me. im just not good enough for anyone. I groaned and turned to my side trying to sleep. Guess no college tomorrow I need to go back but not yet maybe online college? I dont know.
