Chapter 30

Demi's POV

I was just playing with abby feeling alittle bit better when there was a knock on my door.

"come in" I said not knowing why joe didnt just walk in

"why did-" I started to say when I looked up and it wasnt Joe it was Niall.

"hey" I said smiling awkwardly. I started to fix my hair but got weak and my arms fell to the side.

"woah are you okay?" he asked coming closer and I nodded

"what brings you here?" I asked as abigail ran out of the room.

"u-um I was just here with the lads and I thought I'd see how your doing and I wanted to talk about a few things" he said with his irish accent. I nodded

"I dont want things to be awkward between us since that kiss it didnt mean anything to the both of us. I actually have a girlfriend I guess I liked you before but now I just like you as a friend. Im not trying to be rude by any means I was just trying to explain things" he said confused with himself I just had to laugh.

"I understand you were a friend before and your a friend now" I said my laughter calming down. Joe walked in with anger on his face but it was covered up with a smile when Niall turned around to look at him. What the hell was that.

"so since we are in town I was wondering if you both wanted to come and hang out with all of us" niall said smiling I smiled back at him

"no we can't demi is on bed rest and I have to look after her, we cant leave abigail either" joe said leaning on the wall with his arms crossed.

"what he means is maybe another time but thanks for the offer" I said feeling bad because I couldn't go and about Joe's attitude but now I know whats bothering him. It's kind of cute how jealous he is

"oh ok are you ok?" he asked

"im pregnant and im just tired and drained from it" I said giving him a small smile.

"well feel better I gotta get going can I get a hug?" he smiled and wiggled his eyebrows. I opened my arms and we hugged. I'm glad its not awkward anymore.

"Nice seeing you guys maybe another time" Niall said heading out of the room as joe follows behind him. I giggle as joe makes faces at Niall when he turns around.

I settle myself on my bed again. I hopefully will be better soon, laying in bed sucks. I was just thinking when joe walks into the room, I smirk having fun with this

"that was sweet of Niall to come over, he was always so nice" I said smiling holding in my laughter when joe stopped in his tracks mumbling a few things.

"he has gotten cuter I do admit" I said telling the truth but no feelings for him, just to bug joe.

"well why dont you just date him then?" joe said pouting with an angry face. I couldn't help it started laughing

"your so jealous" I sang and Joe snapped out of his thoughts looking confused but caught on.

"its not funny to play with someone's emotions" he said coming to me

"relax Mr.Jonas"i said as he hovered over me and I placed my hands on his hips

"well Mrs.Jo-" joe bit his tongue and I got sad. I want to get married its not like I dont this baby just knocked me out.

"im sorry" he said kissing me and playing with my hair that was infront of my face

"its not your fault. It's okay" I said running my hands through his hair as he kissed me again

"daddy mommy thats disgusting" abigail said with her finger in her mouth. We both laughed and abigail came into bed with me and joe.

"why dont we sleep together tonight huh?" I said and she nodded excited. From left to right was abigail, me, and joe we all hugged eachother and fell to sleep as so but I couldnt. Sterling was staying here and he wasnt back yet, I decided not to worry because he is a grown man and can take care of himself.

*************************NEXT MORNING****************************

I woke up when I heard crashing downstairs. I looked to my sides and abigail and joe werent there I guess he went to drop her off to school. Wait, then who is that. I got up and took the bat we had behind the bed incase and took my phone calling joe.

"hey babe someone is in the house and there is crashing and im kind of scared" I said as I heard tumbling near the steps and I slowly and quietly shut my door locking it then going to the bathroom. I locked that door as well

"ill be there im almost home I just reached the driveway stay calm ok. You will be fine I love you" he said as he hung up. I tried to breathe in and out it was somewhat working. I heard joe and whoever the hell it was yelling I put my hand over my ears but that did not stop me from hearing the door of my room crashing open. I heard silence and decided to call joe instead of going outside.

"its ok babe its safe sterling was just drunk he's passed out. Where are you anyways?" he asked breathing heavily as I opened the bathroom door shutting my phone. I saw a lifeless and blood covered face sterling.

"oh my god joe what did you do?" I said going over to sterling and examining his face before looking at joe, which made me even more worried. I stood up and went to him touching his face.

"oww" he winced

"sorry come here" I said taking him to the bathrrom and washing his face. I was stood between joe's legs as he hugged my waist. After I was done he just hugged me resting his ear against my stomach. We stayed there in silence it was nice though.

"ok I gotta clean him up now" I said and tried getting away

"no ill do it your suppose to be resting" he said looking up at me

'I feel fine" I said smiling and on cue I started feeling dizzy

"maybe not so much" I said and then felt something else. I shoved joe off the toilet and started throwing up. I hate this about all pregnancies like why.

After we got everyone cleaned up we decided we should just watch movies and eat food until it was time to get abigail.

I was in the kitchen putting stuff away as joe went to get abigal, my phone started ringing

"hello?" I asked and heard whispering

"demi my head is killing me please bring something" sterling whispered as i was sighing in relief. I hung up and got advil for him. I checked his cuts and they looked fine.

"im sorry I came home drunk I had alittle bit too much fun" he chuckled trying to get rid of the awkwardness

"its alright it happens im just thankful abigail wasn't here. I dont know how I would explain. Just dont drink that much while your here I dont want abigail to see please?" I asked calmly as he nodded.

"ok so what do you wanna do?" I asked and sterling had an evil grin on his face. He moved his face so that it was an inch apart from mine
