Part of me
Want to rip out my voice box
And lock it away
So I can never talk
Because it's a waste of my time
And my effort
Why should I reason with you
When you won't reason at all?
Another part of me
Wants to tell everyone
Everything
And to make everybody understand
It over shares
And over plays
In a desperate attempt
To defend everything I have come to know
I really want to shut up
But there's nothing I can do
To quiet myself
As I try to get my words through to you
I know my words are right side up
I know I'm thinking clearly now
I think the reason that you're stuck
