Bright ceiling lights
Children "sharing" toys
I feel so unwelcome
Among these older girls and boys
But I was too smart for the grade before
So they let me graduate
But I don't know what I'm doing
And I don't know what to say
I've never had to write this much
I've never had to read
I've never had this many friends
Who were taller than me
These people know so much more
Than I've had time to learn
But I'm going to have to fit in somehow
This is gonna be hard
