And rainy day stories
And togetherness
Inclusion
And love
This is the end
Of a book full of hatred
And bad metaphors
And questions
And confusion
And all out anger
And nothing understandable in the least
But this isn't the end
Of Amber
Of Bryn
Of Charlotte
Of Delilah
Of Naya
Of Lucy
Or of me
This isn't the end
Of Amber
In her curly haired greatness
In her compassion that soars
Past her height
This isn't the end
Of Bryn
Though I assure
That I'll be much less negative
Towards her
This isn't the end
Of Charlotte
Even though her account is now gone
She'll find a way back
Into the room where it happens
This isn't the end
Of Delilah
Though I hope she isn't as vague
Because I don't understand
What she's so vague about
This isn't the end
Of Naya, I'm sure
Even though maybe right now
I don't know much about her
This isn't the end
Of Lucy
As she cares for everyone
In our darkness
She is the Sun
This isn't the end
Never will it be
For my words will last forever
Even if they don't mean a thing
Because the internet is forever
Even if no one cares what I say
I don't think what I say
Will stand the test of time
But at least these words
Are imperfectly mine
This might be the end
Of a chapter of life
But there's still much to come
