I don't want to sound cheesy
I don't want to sound vain
But I want to thank those who make life easy
Who take away the pain
There aren't many I feel I can trust in this life
I wish that wasn't so
But I'd be devastated
If anybody had to go
I'm a mess
Perplexed
I never know what to do
But it's my friends
My family
Who teach me what is true
I hope that I can keep them
As I try to better myself
