School Begins

So much has happened ever since Raven didn't sign the book of legends. She has had to face her wicked mother, the Evil Queen, numerous times, Apple had learned to accept Raven's choice making them close friends, and she and Dexter fell madly in love and were the new topic of the school back then. Year, even though they met up during the summer. The hardest part for Dexter was telling his parents about Raven, but they met her and declared him as her Good King but Raven didn't really care, as long as she was by his side. Daring was also declared Rosabella's Beast much to the Charming King's dismay. Apple and Darling were the first Princess with Princess couple in school history, but once again as I said, many things have changed since Legacy Year. In present day, Raven was unhexpectedly late, due to traffic in Raven's kingdom, but now they were approaching Bookend, passing all the buildings to make their way to Ever After High. Raven sat next to her father, the Good King, as she texted Dexter that she was almost there. The Good King kissed Raven's forehead.
"Another year away from my precious princess." He sighed and smiled sadly at Raven. Raven did miss her Father and her home during the school year but now that people didn't see her as evil, she couldn't wait for school to start off on the right chapter.
"I will be back before you even know it, besides, you will be so busy running the kingdom you won't even know I was gone!" She gave her dad a tight hug.
"Oh trust me I will notice, it will be easier to sleep without you playing your guitar..." Raven have her dad a soft playful punch on the arm. They both chuckled. The carriage stopped at the front of the school, the coachmen opened the door and held out his hand. Raven grabbed her purse and carry on bag full of toiletries and make up. She kissed her dad on his rosy cheek.
"Bye dad." She gave her father one last tight hug and waved goodbye. The coachman closed the door and the other dropped all my trunks next to my feet. The sped off to avoid any further traffic, for the Good King had a fairy busy schedule. Speaking of, a little pink fairy flew in front of her and handed her school schedule scroll and squeaked.
"Thank you." Raven said sweetly and with that, the fairy was off to give another student their schedule. Raven opened her scroll not only curious to see her classes, but also to find out her roommate. Before she was able to read it, Dexter covered her eyes with his hands.
"Guess who missed you fairy much?" Dexter removed his hands and came in front of Raven to give her a hug.
"It's only been 3 weeks Dex." She giggled as he gave her a 3 second kiss.
"Well, guess what I got you..." He moved his hand from behind his back to reveal a dark and light purple plush teddy bear the size of a pillow. Raven squealed hugging the stuffed animal.
"I love it! And I love you." She gave Dexter another kiss. Dexter held Raven's hand.
"I love you too Raven. So? You need help carrying your luggage?" He picked up two big and heavy trunks. He had gotten more physically fit and less clumsy since Legacy Year, so it was no problem. Raven nodded and picked up her other trunk, and carry on bag with her purse as well. They walked in the school to see some new students, as well as familiar students walking around and talking to people. Raven levitated her scroll in front of her face so that she could read it.
"So I guess I'm rooming with Rosabella this year, she seems like a nice girl." Dexter nodded in agreement.
"Lucky, I have to room with my brother Daring this year. As if I didn't get enough of him at home." They both laughed as they began to walk into the girl's dormitory. Raven was looking for room 308, last year she had room 300 with Apple.
"Isn't kinda weird that I'm rooming with Rose and she is Daring's girlfriend while you are rooming with Daring and I'm your girlfriend." Dexter pondered this but soon shrugged.
"A lot of students are in relationships, this probably isn't the first time this has happened." Raven nodded. They passed room 306.
"I'm hoping this year will go by better." Raven said looking down at her feet. Dexter bumped his shoulder with hers and smiled.
" it will. Trust me." She smiled at him. She could always count on Dexter. They passed room 307, with the names Madeline Hatter and Cedar wood on the name plates. Raven lightened up knowing that her BFFA was going to be her neighbor. They stopped at room 308 with the name plates saying Raven Queen and Rosabella Beauty. Just for curiosity, Raven peaked at the room 309 name plates. Bunny Blanc and Apple White. Raven wondered who got the biggest room this year. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. She got her key and opened the door to find Rosabella hanging rose vines on the banister of her bed. Raven and Dexter both walked in and set Raven's stuff on her side of the dorm. Rosabella jumped off her bed and hugged Raven.
"Welcome roomie! That side is your side since I know you like Windows and a lot of outlets. This is my pet butterfly, Adelita. She is quiet and calm. Do you have a pet comming?" Rose asked as she petted her butterfly.
"My dragon, Nevermore, is comming in and hour. She shrinks down so she can stay with me here in the dorm. She flies here so really it's no problem. Oh and don't worry, she is great with all living creatures." Raven smiled giving Adelita a little scratch on her head. Rosabella smiled.
"Perfect! I can't wait to get to know you better!" She then continued hanging up her rose vines. Raven surveyed her side of the dorm. Dexter laid her trunks on her bed and put one arm around Raven.
"Well, I better go set up my dorm. Knowing Daring, there is mirrors everywhere." He chuckled and gave Raven a kiss on the cheek.
"Later sweetie." He left and closed the door. Raven rubbed her cheek and sighed with a dreamy smile. Raven proceeded to open her trunks.
"Let's get to work!"
*************************************************************************************************************** After 2 hours of setting up her room, Raven finally finished. Nevermore was curled up on her Raven themed bed and making cute little snores. Raven petted her sleepy pet and stretched. All her clothes were put away and her make up and toiletries were on her vanity. Her desk held her laptop and drawers filled with school supplies. Against the right wall hung her mirror and under that was her guitar. She stepped off her plush lavender carpet and fixed the black throw pillow on her over stuffed purple sitting chair. She fit her last book in place on her ebony bookshelf that held all her precious framed pictures. She sighed and nodded in satisfaction. Rosabella was already heading down to the Castleteria to eat dinner but Raven sat on her bed waiting for Dexter. A few minutes later, someone was knocking at her door. Raven stood up and dusted her dress off. She fixed her spiked tiara and opened the door to see Dexter holding out his hand.
"Shall we go to eat dinner?" Raven giggled and took his hand.
"We shall." She locked the door and walked to the Castleteria with Dexter. "How was setting up your room?" Raven asked. Dexter groaned.
"Tiring. This is why at home we have separate bedrooms. Rosabella stopped by not too long ago and went with him to go eat dinner." Raven gave him a kiss on the cheek for still finding the energy to walk her down to the Castleteria. The walked in to the smell of Roast mutton, mashed potatoes, beanstalk beans, and princess and the split pea soup. Raven's tummy growled, she was hungrier than she thought. "Let's eat."
