Raven walked with Dexter and Maddie while Dexter held their luggage. They walked down the elegant hallway in the Good King's castle. Raven stopped walking as she stood in front of her father's workspace. Maddie grabbed the luggage and stuffed it in her hat.
"You guys go ahead. I will be in the limocarriage." Maddie said as she skipped down the hall. Dexter and Raven walked into the room to see the Good King sitting at his desk, drinking a glass of scotch while looking out the window. Raven walked up as Dexter stayed a little behind. He put his scotch glass down and turned his chair towards Raven.
"I only want what is best for you princess." He said calmly.
"I know daddy." She said back. He sighed.
"I know your mother would probably send you away or something but I called headmaster Grimm." He father stated. Raven stood there waiting for him to continue as he sipped his drink again.
"I have arranged for you to have a the baby kept in your dorm, but there was a catch..." he glared at Dexter.
"You both will have to share a dorm in your Senior year. Now you will know what parenthood is like." He said as he drank the rest of his glass. Raven looked back at Dexter and smiled. She went over to hug her dad.
"I gotta go. I love you." She hugged her father. The smell of pine and Oak filled in her nose as she hugged him tightly. He hugged her back while kissing her cheek.
"Love you too." He said. She waved goodbye as a tear fell down her cheek.

On the whole way home, as the limo left the regal silver gates while she looked at her father from the doorway, she cried. Dexter rubbed her back and everyone comforted her. After a couple of hours, after most of them fell asleep, Dexter and Raven cuddled up in the love seat in the back, Maddie and Apple sitting across from her as Darling fell asleep on Apple's lap.
"Well it's good that you parents know that's for sure." Apple said to break the silence.
"Yeah I guess." Dexter shrugged. Maddie poured some tea and bit into the cup.
"Do you think the baby will have purple polka dots and green horns? That would be hat-tastic!" Maddie cheered. Dexter shuddered at the thought of that. Raven kept looking out the window.
"Do you think I made the right choice?" Raven asked. They all looked at her in confusion.

"To keep the baby?" She continued. They all fell silent. Dexter held her hand.
"Yes. It might have not been planned or come at the best time but now that it is, I'm hexcited." Dexter said. Raven smiled and kissed his cheek.
"I have to be honest Raven, I may have not have enjoyed myself at your castle as much as I should have." Apple ran her fingers through Darling's hair.
"I always thought I had the best of everything, until I saw your kingdom. It's better than mine in every way." Apple said. Raven sighed and patted Apple on the back.
"Apple, I'm a pregnant 17 year old with a single dad and the worst mom imaginable. I think you're going to be okay." They both laughed.
"Speaking of? When can we see it's face?!" Maddie said knocking on Raven's belly and Dexter protectively nudged her hand away.
"I think what she meant was when are you going to get a sonogram? You need to start thinking about your own doctor, appointments, and baby stuff." Apple chimed in as Maddie nodded.
"Huh. I didn't think about that stuff. I better set up an appointment for Raven." Dexter said.
"Dexter you don't have to." Raven said. Dexter pulled her closer on his lap as his arms wrapped around her to type on his phone.
"I am going to be the best father I can be to this baby, I promise to take care of you and our child." He rubbed Raven's belly. He set up the appointment and closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep with Raven in his arms.
"Raven. No matter what, you need to keep him." Apple said. Maddie giggled. Raven smiled and smoothed back his thick brown cowlick.
"I plan to." She snuggled closer as the half asleep Dexter kissed her forehead.

"Raven Queen. Doctor Shimmer will see you now." The fairy secretary said. Raven Queen got up and held tight to Dexter's Hand. She, Dexter, Daring, Darling, Maddie, Apple, and Rosabella walked into the doctor's office. Raven went on to the chair laying back in her hoodie and yoga pants. The rest stood around waiting for the doctor to come as Dexter nervously tapped his foot as he held on to Raven's hand. Soon, a doctor walked in with a blue beard and circle rimmed glasses. He smiled as he set his clipboard down and set his machine up.
"How are we all doing today?" He asked nicely. Everyone said good or "meh" to him. He pulled up Raven's hoodie and squirted some jelly on her belly.
"Sorry about that Ms.Queen." He said.
"When did you find out you were pregnant?" The doctor asked as the computer loaded.
"January 8th." Raven said. He looked at her chart once more.
"Says here that you are 17." He said. Raven sighed.
"Yeah I know." She said. Dexter lightly squeezed her hand.
"I'm not one to judge, it also says you both are royalty so you guys seem set." He said. He grabbed his monitoring stick and rolled it over Raven's stomach. A blurry picture appeared on the screen as everyone looked at it. After a minute of rolling, all of their hearts started racing as they heard nothing.
"Not hearing anything." The doctor said as he squinted. Dexter's grip tightened as Raven started to worry more and more. Soon after another minute, tiny little beeps were heard.
"Their it is." The doctor said smiling. Everyone sighed in relief as a picture of a tiny baby looking thing. The heart rate became clearer as Dexter smiled at the screen.
"That's our baby." Raven said letting a tear fall down her cheek. He kissed Raven as everyone awed at the screen. He soon turned off the monitor and printed a picture for Raven and Dexter to keep. He came back 10 minutes later with a file and sat in a chair.
"So your baby is strong and healthy. It is approximately 1 month old. It should be due around October. I will be your doctor through this whole thing and call me anytime if you have any questions." He handed Raven his business card. Raven nodded as he left the room. Raven and Dexter held the photos to their hearts.
