The regal dining table was exquisite. It was rectangular with a smooth polish finish. Everyone sat down at the table chatting about how nice the castle was as Apple fiddled with a strand of her hair. Darling held her hand and smiled. Raven sat next to Dexter and her Father at the end of the table. King Charming sat next to the Good King with Queen Charming next to him. The cook prepared one of Raven's favorite meals. Dragon-root risotto with a garlic and cumin finish. It was vegan and made fresh from their stables. As the food was being served with a side rosemary salad and a sparkling fairy berry water.
"So how is life? I hope Dexter is treating you well." The Good King said as he sipped the sparkling water. Dexter gulped.
"Everything is good. He is good." She kissed his cheek as he blushed.
"That's my boy." King Charming said as he took a bite from his salad.
Raven took a bite as she saw everyone enjoying themselves. She couldn't ruin this night for them, so she decided to wait until tomorrow morning to tell her dad and Dexter's parents the news.
Everyone talked and the Good King shared some stories about Raven's childhood. After dinner was done, a cherry and vanilla cake was served. Even though Everyone was laughing and enjoying each other's company, the thick tension in the air clouded the moment for Raven and Dexter.

Soon after a tour of the castle and the gardens, everyone went back to their individual suites and settled for the night. Raven changed into her pajamas and Dexter changed into his T shirt and boxers. The climbed into Raven's bed as Dexter and Raven pulled out their laptops. Dexter played a little of his online game as Raven checked her MyPage. She had tons of messages from friends asking when she was going to tell her dad and Dexter's parents. Blondie updated her mirrorcast with a webisode about Raven's castle with footage from hercastle. Raven sighed as she closed her laptop and put it on her nightstand. She rubbed her tummy and looked out her window. Dexter closed his laptop too and started to kiss Raven on her neck and pull the straps of her nightgown down. Raven realized what was happening and pushed him away a little.
"Dex we can't." She urged. He went back to kissing her neck and she did enjoy it but she still tried to resist.
"That's how we got into this situation." She tried to plea. He slipped her nightgown off and tugged at her bra straps.
"Come on Raven, let me make you feel better." He said lightly biting her neck. She couldn't resist no more, she saddled onto him and kissed back. After 20 minutes of rocking the bed, Raven laid her head on Dexter's bare chest as he wrapped his arm around her.
"You're lucky this room is soundproof. My dad hates when I practice my guitar." They both laughed as Dexter kissed her forehead.
He stared at her bare stomach and lightly put his hand on it. He rubbed it softly and smiled.
"I'm so scared." Raven said softly. He looked up at her.
"To be honest I am too. But we can do this, together." He said giving her a kiss.
" Do... Do you think the baby will end up like me?" Raven said with a worried expression on her face. Dexter sighed and kissed her cheek.
"I hope so." He replied. Raven smiled but that is not what she meant. They soon fell asleep putting away the worries thoughts of what with would come tomorrow.

It was a bright and sunny morning in the middle of February as The Good King, Raven, Dexter, and King and Queen Charming sat at the most refined Gazebo in the garden. Raven sat next to her father with Dexter sitting on we other side. The Charming's sat next to the Good King as Queen Charming sipped her tea and bubbled on her fruit tart while King Charming drank his coffee and bit into his steak and eggs. The Good King had a cantaloupe filled with fairytale cottage cheese and a ham slice covering it. Dexter had an omelette with hash browns and sausage while Raven poked her the yolk in her sunny side up eggs with her fork. The Good King Cleared his throat and sliced into his breakfast. Raven glanced at Dexter as he glanced back, they knew it was time to tell them. The rest of their friends were walking around in the village to pick up breakfast, she didn't want them too see what would happen next. Raven put down her fork and grabbed her father's hand. He smiled at her.
"What's up my little princess?" He said as he took a sip of his orange juice. Raven took in a deep breath.
"I have something to tell you that may not be easy to hear." She said softly. His smile faded and Dexter grabbed her remaining hand under the table.
"You can tell me anything sweetie, do you want to walk over there for a minute to talk in private?" He asked. Raven shook her head and tried her best to hold back her tears.
"Dexter's parents need to hear this." The Charming's soon looked up and paid closer attention to what Raven was saying.
"I..." she started as she looked around. She knew after she said these words, anything could happen. She could be sent away to her Grandmother's and never see Dexter again or maybe King Charming would banish me into some forgotten place no one has ever heard of. Never the less, they needed to hear this and whatever may come, her and Dexter would deal with it.
"I'm pregnant." The Good King dropped his fork as King Charming almost choked on his coffee.
"What." Uttered the Good King. King Charming glared at Dexter.
"I'm pregnant... and it's Dexter's." She said closing her eyes shut. The Good King patted his mouth and stood up from his chair.
"Charming?" The Good King said deeply as he gave a death glare at Dexter. King Charming looked at him.
"I'm going to drag your son across the field and beat him senseless." He said as Dexter gulped. King Charming took another sip of his coffee.
"Go right ahead." He said. As soon as the Good King heard those words, Dexter shot up from his chair and ran into the field. The Good King pushed his chair and chased right after him. Raven looked in shock and looked back at the Charmings.
"Aren't you going to do something?!" Raven cried.
"I would do the same thing if it were my daughter. Best to stay out of his way." King Charming concluded. The Queen clapped her hands and squealed.
"I'm going to be a grandma!" She said with glee. Soon the Good King grabbed Dexter's leg and and threw him everywhere. After he threw him once, he yanked his leg and tossed him again.
Raven got up and ran over to her father.
"Dad stop it! Dad!" She throws to hold his shoulders but he continued. She soon knew that this was useless so after he threw him again she ran over to Dexter and huddled over him to block her father from hurting him again.
"Raven. Move." The Good King said sternly. Raven looked down at Dexter's dirty bruised face and kissed his cheek. She looked back at her father.
"I'm not. I'm sorry your upset about this but that gives you no right to hurt him. He has done so much for me, he has even saved my life." She rubbed the side of his face with her thumb. Dexter smiled back at her. The Good King knew this to be true but couldn't make sense of how this happened.
"How could he ruin my baby girl?" The Good King said.
"Ruined? You think I'm ruined?" She asked. The Good King shook his head.
"No that's not what- what I meant was- ah! You're pregnant! Your only 17!" Raven let tears fall down her face.
"What if he leaves you for another girl? Then what? You are all alone with a baby... just like me." The Good King sat down on a marble bench next to them. Dexter struggled but succeeded to get up. He grabbed Raven's hand.
"Sir, I can promise you that I would never leave her. Raven is my true love, and after high school I plan to marry her. I always have planned to marry her, even before she was pregnant." He said. Raven looked up at Dexter and gave him a hug. The Good King sighed and got up. King and Queen Charming soon walked over.
"I will help in anyway I can." The Good King stated as he kissed Raven's forehead.
"We will too." King Charming said, which took Dexter by surprise.
"I know I have always been hard on you, but you proved to me that you can be a man and own up to your responsibilities." He gave Dexter a pat on the back and Queen Charming hugged both Dexter and Raven.
"Now let's get you cleaned up." Raven said to Dexter. They all laughed as they walked back to the Castle.
