How the Bird fit the Crown

The History

A vast grain field with amber waves. The sky is pure white with a never ending glow. Raven stands up in a pure white silk dress. She walks up and stares around, looking for something in the horizon. Soon the sky turns pitch black and the symbols from the tablet erupt from the ground and circle around her. Raven's heart starts racing as they circle around her faster and faster. Soon they stop as Raven's dress starts turning pitch black. She screams and the whole entire field is set on fire in purple flames. She cries as she falls to her knees and closes her eyes. The flames consume her.
*************************************************************************************************************** Raven woke up in a cold sweat. She soon realized she was standing over her desk drawer with the key I her hand. She drops the key and scoots back into her bed. Rose walks in and sits next to Raven.
"Did it happen again?" She puts a hand on Raven's shoulder.
"It's the same dream every night. This time I was about to open the drawer. I don't know what to do." She smushes her face and then gets up.
"I need to get ready. Class starts soon." She opens her dresser and pulls out her dress. Rose sighed and gets up to get her boots.
"I hope things get better Raven." Rose walks over to her bed and slips her boots on. Raven looks at her desk.
"Yeah, I hope so too."
**************************************************************************  Raven walks into History of Tall Tales class with Dexter and Apple. She takes her seat next to Dexter and Apple and notices Faybelle giving her an evil smile. Raven felt uncomfortable, she got a weird feeling. The bell rang and everyone stopped talking.
"Okay class. Today before we start our lesson on how Mother Goose keeps track of her stories, but first Faybelle Thorn asked to give a presentation on something from her General Villainy class." Raven got tense and looked at Faybelle. Mr.Nimble sat down at his desk and nodded at Faybelle. Faybelle tossed her hair and fluttered to the front of the classroom. She shut the lights and started her slideshow. She cleared her throat.
"Today I will be showing you a presentation on ancient evil artifacts from... The Evil Queen." Everyone gasped as the Humphrey fainted. Raven groaned and put her head down.
"This is the Evil Queen." She clicked her button to show a picture of the Evil Queen. Everyone gasped once again. Dexter patted Raven's back. Apple stood up.
"Mr. Nimble, this has nothing to do with today's lesson." Faybelle glared at her.
"Ms.White, let Faybelle finish and save all comments for later." He said not looking up from his magazine as he sipped his coffee. Apple sighed and sat down.
"Anyways, the Evil Queen over the years has done many villainous crimes." She clicked her button a couple times to show images from Wonderland, Neverland, and Dragon Games." Everyone whispered to each other.
"One of the many crimes she has committed was trying to rule over Neverland." She the showed a picture of the beautiful scenery and landscapes of Neverland.
"An ancient artifact she used was a very powerful stone tablet that holds a vast majority of dark magic." She showed a photo of the tablet that Raven had in her drawer.
"I have soon numerous research and have discovered that anyone of the Evil Queen A.K.A Raven's mom, bloodline can posses this power and can do whatever they want." She then showed a picture of Raven. Everyone looked at her and scooted away a little.
"If Raven, hypothetically, were to harness this power, she could rule the universe." She showed a picture of Raven altered to make her look evil. Everyone gasped. Dexter started to get irritated.
"Therefore, my conclusion, is that anyone from the Evil Queen bloodline, which would be Raven, is truly evil and is capable of anything... Even faking to be good." She turned the lights back on and smiled at Raven. Everyone looked at Raven with fear. Faybelle flew back to her seat. Raven groaned. Dexter and Apple got up and went to the front of the room.
"Now hold on, Raven is not evil. This tablet may prove that her mom was evil, but Raven Has nothing to do with it." Apple explained. Dexter looked over to Raven who still had her head down.
"And even if she did supposedly have this tablet, maybe she would use the power for good to help people instead of hurting them." Dexter added. People murmured and nodded along with him. Faybelle pouted. Dexter noticed Raven still had her head down.
"Why don't you ask her yourself better yet. She can explain why she is good and nothing like her mother." Apple said. Cedar scooted over next to Raven. Cedar tried to shake her to wake her up.
"She is not waking up." Cedar said trying to hold Raven's head up. Her head slammed against her desk again. Apple and Dexter ran up to her trying to wake her.
"She is not waking up, Mr.Nimble!" Apple cried. He put his stuff down and ran up to Raven and held up her eyes and shined a flashlight.
"She is not responding, some get the nurse." Apple and Cedar ran out the classroom to go and get the nurse. Everyone started making noise. Dexter was carrying Raven in his arms.
"Raven come on wake up." He said brushing her hair out of the way. The nurse came rushing in and asked Dexter to bring her down. He laid her down, keeping her head leveled in his lap. The nurse placed her ear to Raven's heart.
"Her breathing is weak and her heart rate is slow. We need to bring her to her bed now." Dexter picked her up bridal style and went with Apple and Rose to her dorm. Rose unlocked the door and Dexter rushed in and laid Raven down in her bed. The nurse came around her and felt her forehead.
"She is ice cold. I'm only allowing her roommate and 2 other close members of hers in. Everyone else out." The rest of the students exited and Rose closed the door. Apple and Dexter sat down next to her, Dexter held her hand.
"What's wrong with her?!"
