"Only 3 more weeks left until summer break Fairytales! This is Blondie Lockes here giving you the pre-summer scoop before we head out to enjoy summer in the sun! I am going to be in an internship program with the Fairytale Five News! I will make sure to give you the hexclusive details on other's summer as well, including the rebellious Raven Queen and her bouncing bundle of joy on the way! Until next time fairytales, Blondie Lockes out!" Dexter turned the camera off as Blondie wrapped up her mic cord.
"So Dexter, you ready to become a dad?" Blondie asked questioningly. Dexter sighed and turned to blondie.
"I'm not doing interview questions Blondie." Dexter stated. Blondie shook her head.
"Off the record." She said. Dexter thought to himself for a moment.
"I'm kinda hexcited but also a little scared, I mean, so many things can go wrong..." he trailed off.
"So what are you going to do this summer with Raven going to the Ivory Coast and all?" Dexter dropped his AV cables and quickly turned to Blondie.
"She is going where?!" Dexter hexclaimed. Blondie stood in shock as she had her 'uh-oh' moment."I don't know how I'm going to tell Dex I'm going to the Ivory Coast for the summer." Raven sighed as she was writing her end of the year hexam for Home Evilnomics. She sat at her desk while Rosabella was reading a book called "The Beast Within Us" by one of her favorite authors, Shannon Hale. It told a story about how we all are different and how we feel about it doesn't have to affect how others think of us. She was on chapter 12.
"I'm sure you'll figure it out, I'm about to tell Daring that I'm joining you along with Maddie, Cedar and Lizzie. " Rosabella stared as she turned to the next page of her book. Suddenly, Dexter busted in and stormed towards Raven at her desk. She turned to see him looking not so happy.
"YOU'RE GOING TO THE IVORY COAST FOR THE WHOLE SUMMER?!" Dexter exclaimed. Rosabella closed her book and quietly scuttled out of the room.
"Dex don't be mad-"
"Mad?! I'm annoyed that I'm not going to see you this entire summer! What about us?" He went on. Raven sat him down on her bed and sat next to him while holding his hand.
"Dexter I love you, but I need this. This is my last summer before I become a mom, and a wife. I know we're planning on getting married after high school ends but I just need one more summer to be young and free." She said with a sad face. Dexter sighed.
"Yeah, I guess I need that too. I'm just going to miss you." He wrapped his arms around Raven to hold her in a loving embrace.
"I will text you everyday. I will be back before you know it." She said.
Daring soon burst in, acting hysterical as Rosabella followed.
"I can't believe you're leaving me!" He exclaimed. Rosabella crossed her arms.
"It's only for 9 weeks Daring! I will call you everyday, and besides you have a posse of girls who worship your every move to keep you company." Rosabella opened a near by window to show about 40-50 girls holding posters of Daring and fainting at the sight of him. Daring held Rosabella's hands.
"I don't want them, I only want you. I love you." Daring said. Rose bushes but shook her head firmly.
"I'm going Daring, and besides you will have an opportunity to hand out with your friends and brother." She said. He sighed but piled a mirror out of his bag.
" I would love to hear this but I have a paper to write so could you guys..." Raven looked at Daring and Rosabella. Rose and Daring left the room as Dexter stood there.
"How about you go see Cupid? You guys haven't talked in a couple months." Raven said as she got back to her paper. Dexter got up and gave Raven a quick kiss.
"Yeah it will be nice to see her again, I will swing by her dorm. Catch ya later sweetie." Dexter said as Raven waved. Dexter left and walked further down the dormitory.
"C.A. Cupid and Ginger Breadhouse." Dexter read in his mind as he stood in front of room 311. He cleared his throats as he knocked on the door. A few seconds later, Cupid opened the door and gave Dexter a hug.
"Dexter! It's so good to see you!" Cupid said in a giddy voice. She walked in with Dexter following behind but he noticed boxes around her room.
"What's with the boxes?" Dexter asked. Cupid gave a sad smile and handed him a pink cupcake with white frosting and pink heart sprinkles.
"You haven't been around for a while to know this, but I'm leaving Ever After High." Dexter stared wide eyed. Cupid chuckled and looked out the window.
"I'm going back home, my dad Eros needs me as his apprentice and I'm pretty much the only person who can do it." She said. Dexter sighed.
"I should have been around more." Dexter said looking down on his cupcake.
"I don't blame you, your about to be a father. There isn't much time for anything else in your life right now." Cupid said. Dexter always admired how she was so understanding.
"You know, I used to have a crush on you. Back before you and Raven were a thing." She said calmly. Dexter looked stunned.
"No matter how much I tried to get your attention, your heart always went back to her. You guys were made for each other, and the sooner I realized that the sooner I moved on." She stated looking at Dexter.
"That must have sucked, I'm sorry Cupid." He said. She shrugged and bit into her cupcake.
"As my dad always said, me and him were not meant for falling in love, only causing it." She said shooting a pretend arrow at Dexter. They both laughed, they both missed being friends.
"When do you leave?" Dexter asked taking another bite of his cupcake.
"Next week. But don't worry, every spring I can come down for a few days so we can hang out then, and also I can still chat online if you want.
"That sounds great, do you need help packing?" Dexter asked. Cupid looked around.
"Yeah I guess I could. Thanks Dex." She said getting packing tape out of her drawer.
"Anytime."
