Final Chapter

Raven Queen had her stuff all packed and ready to go, she was looking forward to going to the Ivory Coast with her friends. Her dad was planning to join them for a week or two in July but Raven's summer was booked nonetheless. As Raven packed the last of her crowns, she heard a quiet knocking at her door. She put her bag down and opened the door.
"Sapphire!" Raven said as she pulled Sapphire in for a hug but not for long since the baby bump got in the way.
"Hi Raven, I just came to say I hope you have a good summer." She said looking around in the now empty dorm. Rosabella was already in the student lounge saying goodbye to Daring, soon Raven would do the same with Dexter.
"Well come in, lets have a quick chat!" Sapphire smiled and fluttered in and softly landed her white and blue satin heels on the floor. Raven sat on the blank mattress and patted the seat next to her. Sapphire sat down.
"So what are you doing this summer?" Raven asked. Sapphire gulped and chuckled nervously.
"You know, this and that..." she said vaguely. Raven raised one of her eyebrows.
"Ok. Well, can I ask you a personal question?" Raven said. Sapphire hesitated but nodded.
"Why do you and Ivy hang out? How did you guys become friends?" Sapphire's heart dropped as soon as Raven said 'friends'. Sapphire needed to be cautious, but she didn't want to be dishonest either.
"We met freshman year...

"Your dorm will be room A13 in the Enchanted corridor. Here is your schedule and some Fairy Workers will bring your luggage to your room shortly. Once again, thank you for joining Regal High and have an enchanted day." The woman with green hair and a long nose said as she handed Sapphire her schedule. Sapphire was so excited to start high school, she heard of Ever After High but decided Regal High was closer to home.

Sapphire fluttered down the Enchanted corridor until she stopped at room A13. She fumbled in her purse to grab her new room keys and walked in to the empty dorm. She sat on her empty mattress and looked out the window into the courtyard. Students were hanging banners and welcoming new and old students as they arrived. Soon she heard heels clicking in the hall and a girl walked in. She was tall, lean, had dark red hair with dark green streaks. Her dark lips and red eyes stood out boldly. She walked in and sat on the mattress across the room from Sapphire. Sapphire cleared her theist and fluttered over.
"Hi! I'm Sapphire Bluehair, I'm the daughter of the Blue Haired Fairy." Sapphire said. Ivy looked at her and smirked.
"Like in Pinocchio? That's wicked." She said in a stern but smooth voice.
"I'm Ivy. Ivy Towers, daughter of the Gothel Witch." She said.
"The witch that locked away Rapunzel in a tower?" Sapphire asked. Ivy rolled her eyes.
"Yup, that's my mom. Don't worry, I don't bite...hard." She chuckled. Sapphire smiled back.
"I can't wait to be your new roomie!"

"... and ever since then we've been together. Seems like forever ago." Sapphire said. Raven looked down.
"You know... she told me about you." Sapphire mentioned. Raven's head popped back up.
"She did?!" She said. Sapphire nodded and twiddled her thumbs.
"Yeah, but I'm the kind of person who likes to hear both sides of the story before I judge. You seem pretty nice to me." Raven shrugged.
"I guess, I don't really wanna talk about it right now. Maybe when we get back." She said. Sapphire smiled and got up.
"I better get going, Ivy really isn't the patient type." She said. She gave Raven a quick hug before she left. Raven sighed and grabbed her bag.
If only Raven knew what Ivy had planned.
And how Sapphire was helping.

For all those wondering... the next book is called "To Catch a Raven" and it will be the final year of High school for Raven and Dexter. More adventures and more drama in this book and we will get to see her baby!
