The sound of heels clicking against the marble floor echoed in the darkened hallways lit by a soft candlelight. A short and stout teenage girl with mocha skin, grey eyes and smooth, straight layered silver and blue hair. She had a celestial designed dress that was half ruffled and the other skin tight below the waist. Her heels sparked and shed a little glitter every time her heel hit the floor. Her long dangling necklaces swayed and her bracketed clinked together as she moved, she adjusted her pink and blue headband as she held the file close to her chest.

She soon stood in front of a large glossy oak door with ancient engravings carved into it, she smoothed her fingers over the design before she pushed the doors open and stepping inside the dark room. A few rays of light peaked through the heavy velvet curtains on the other side of the room. I was cluttered, with papers and books. You could barely see a chair which in it sat another teenage girl only revealing her feet into the light. The short girl cleared her throat and fluttered over on her sparkly blue and pink wings that were wavy and had hints of purple blended into it.
"She is getting a lot of attention lately." She said in a calm mellow voice. You could hear the other girl tapping her large sharpened nails against her nightstand, she tapped her vine woven wedges against the cluttered floor.
"Oh?" She replied. Her voice was velvety and clear, as if she had been rehearsing this response over and over again.
"Take a look." She handed the girl in the shadow the file she was carrying. She grabbed it and gently opened it. She flipped through the pages until she stopped and started to snicker a little.
"Oh my, how scandalous of her." She said in response. The short fairy girl stood obedient and held we hands behind her back, as if she was a robot being controlled with a remote.
"Miss Towers, what do you suppose we should do now?" The fairy girl said. The other girl closed the file and threw it into a large pile of other papers.

"Pack your things Sapphire, we're taking a trip." She said as she laid her hands together. The fairy nodded and walked to the very far side of the room and opened a blue and white dresser and pulled out some clothes. She magically lifted her suitcase and put the clothes inside, she grabbed some toiletries and shoes and headbands and put them in a duffle bag. She set them by the door and waited further instruction.

"My I love how you're so efficient, while your at it pack my things too." The fairy girl struggled to keep herself from frowning but nodded and did as such. As soon as she finished packing her stuff, the fairy flutter back. The girl in the shadows got up and held a glowing blue necklace. The fairy girl's eyes widened and her heart was racing a thousand miles per minute.
"In order to earn you freedom back, you had to do something for me and then you get this back." She held the necklace between her two fingers.
"Time to cash it in." She said bluntly.

"What is it that I must do?" She asked trying not to sound panicked. The girl  smiled and put the glowing necklace around her neck.

"You must go to Ever After High and earn her trust, and then once it arrives... snatch it and bring it back to me." She said as she picked a dark red flower from the vines on the windowsill covered by the velvet drapes. Sapphire froze but then nodded once more.

"What use would you have of it?" Sapphire asked. The girl twirled the flower between her fingers.
"She betrayed me, and now after all this time I now can get my revenge. Once I take it." She proceeded to crush the flower in her hands and drop it to the floor. Sapphire looked horrified but she had no choice. Her blue lips quivered as she held back her tears. The other girl smirked.
"Don't worry, once you do this you will get this thing back. Easy." She held the necklace but soon let it drop back on to her neck. Sapphire sighed, this was not going to be easy at all.
"Sapphire call a carriage, we leave as soon as it gets here." Sapphire nodded and whipped out her mirrorphone. She went into another corner of the room to talk as the Other girl got up and walked towards the windowsill. She pulled back the drapes to let a seas of light pour in and encase the whole room in a warm glow. It was easier to see the clutter, and the vines with dark red flowers that spread across the wall and her bedpost. She ran her finger across the sill and saw the amount of dust collected on her finger.

"While you're at it, call some cleaning fairies to clean this place up while we're gone." Sapphire nodded and dialed another number in her phone. With the flick of her wrist, the vines grew more and covers part of the outer wall of her window. Sapphire hung up the phone and walked over to the girl.
"They will be here in 15 minutes." She said. The girl waved her off as Sapphire magically carried the luggage downstairs.
"I will be there in a second." The other girl called down. She walked around her room once more, the floor creaked a little every time she stepped. She went to a bookcase and picked up a dusty picture frame. She smirked.
"Don't worry old friend, I'm not still mad at you. In fact... I'm coming to repay the favor. See you soon!" She said as she dropped the photo to the floor. The carriage arrived and she quickly grabbed her purse, and on the way to walking out the door she stepped on the picture frame. The door closed and they drove off to Ever After High.

The picture remained dusty and broken. The person in the picture still remained refined and polished.

The person was a younger Raven Queen.
