Tera still couldn't believe the idea of having a party. She finally can to the realization, "Oh, shoot! I don't even know what to wear! Uhh, maybe I should have asked? Hell no, that'd be awkward, as if it wasn't enough already..." Then she heard foot steps and looked up. It was Pidge and Allura.
"Hey, Tera," said Pidge, "did you hear about the party tonight?"
Tera replied, "Oh, yeah, I heard. Do you know what the dress code is?"
Allura laughed, "Oh, we were just about to ask you if you'd like to join us for a 'make over', just us girls." Tera felt relieved and agreed happily.
Allura clapped her hands together, "Splendid! I had always wanted to just have a moment with just girls. Follow me."
On the way over to Allura's dresser and wardrobe, Pidge asked, "So, Tera, did Keith happen to ask you out to the party, you know, if you don't mind me asking."
They entered Allura's room and shut the door quickly behind them. Tera sighed, Allura and Pidge both eagerly awaiting her answer, "Not exactly. He told me about the whole party, but didn't straight up tell me to go with him."
Allura furrowed her brows, "Oh, I bet he's shy. Most guys do become timid to speak to pretty girls."
Tera laughed, "Heh, thanks, but I'm not too sure about that."
Allura went to her dresser, "Alright, pick whatever you want to wear." There were many different gowns and dresses to choose from. Pidge picked out a nice, light green dress that had little sparkles, falling just below the knees. It was not overly formal, but good enough for Pidge to approve, nothing too fancy.
Tera decided to get a light pink dress that also had sparkles and shimmer, but different in design compared to Pidge's dress. It reached to the floor and was tied to the side of her waist.
Tera turned to Allura, "Are you sure? These look amazing."
The princess gave a warm smile, "Of course I'm serious. This is a night for everyone to enjoy! Now let's do some hair styling!" They all put on their dresses and went to the vanity in the room.
Pidge was to go first. Allura decided to straighten Pidge's hair slightly but to leave curls at the end. Pidge didn't need to wear her glasses, and decided to leave them off for the night.
Tera complimented her, "You look so pretty, Pidge, as always! I just love your hair!" Then Pidge twirled her finger around one of her side curls after mumbling a "thank you." She never was one to dress up, but sometimes she enjoyed it.
It was now Tera's turn. Allura ended up doing the same thing to Tera's hair except it was half up with a nice, gold hairband. It was nearly time for the party so they decided to stay a while and just talk amongst themselves.

Coran was near the front entrance inside the palace preparing for the party. He placed several trays of different kinds of treats and sweets on the snack tables. Hunk reached over to pick up a snack, but his hand was smacked by Coran. Apparently it's not with tradition to eat before the guests arrive.
All the paladins, with the exception of Pidge, were in their armor in case something did go wrong. They knew it was supposed to be their time to relax, but they figured it was best to take precautions.
The party was about to begin when a few Arusian villagers along with the king arrive. The palace began to get crowded, full of laughter, talking and dancing.
Lance was looking around for Allura and instead saw Keith and Shiro. He decided to join them, "So, you two decided to show up after all. Looking pretty sharp, guys."
Keith and Shiro made funny looks to one another before Keith responded, "Uhh, we look like this all the time."
Then Shiro supported his statement, "The only difference from usual is us being in our Paladin armor, which we're in quite often already."
Lance just laughed and quickly fell into a serious expression, "aha, ha, haaa- you know what I mean so just take the compliment."
