She could feel his hand rub her head and the other on her back. At that very moment, Tera did feel safe, happy, and with Keith, she felt more like herself than ever before. He continued, "I know I just shouldn't, but I think I'm falling for you. Hard." This certainly was a lot to take in. She was only there for a few days.

Tera had to speak, "Keith, I- I don't know. This is a lot. I've never been in this situation before and-"

He spoke, interjecting, "I know, I know. Like I said, I shouldn't,  but I can't stop myself." She waited, and he continued, "I've never have felt like this before, so I know what you mean. I've never been in this kind of situation either."

He was about to pull away and let go of her, but as soon as he began to leave, Tera pulled Keith back. "Just a little longer," she said. He smiled and lightly kissed her forehead. Resisting was difficult. If she wanted him to stay, he'd make the exception. She finally let go of him, the two of them still holding hands, looking at eachother in the eye. He didn't want to see her go, but he had to.

Tera's grasp loosened, and her finger tips left Keith's own. She walked off into the crowd of Arusians to the party. He watched her leave, turned back to the balcony to return to his view of the starry sky. Thinking. Hoping. Wishing. He wished he didn't love her. That way she could be untied to anything and he could focus more on being a Paladin. Keith knew if he wasn't careful, he could hurt her. He's done it before, didn't want to do it again.

Not to mention all the danger that came with associating with any of the paladins of Voltron, and the Galra Empire. If they find out that not only does she work for Voltron, but is romantically involved with one of the paladins, there's no telling what could happen.

As Tera strode through the crowds of people, she stopped. It took her a moment to realize, 'what's happening before my very own eyes? Is this love? I've only heard of it, and not many times in my life. I guess this is proof it does exist, that true love could be real.'

She chose to go back to her room since she felt mentally exhausted. She thought that maybe she was being over dramatic, but in the end, she really did feel sick. Her head was hurting, pounding even, and felt nauseous. She put on a tank top and shorts, cuddled up in her blankets, and drifted off asleep.

The next morning

Tera woke up, left her tank top on but switched from shorts to yoga pants. Then she slipped on her shoes, brushed her teeth and hair, washed her face and left the room. It was about 9:00 a.m. she overslept by an hour, but then again, she did go to sleep sick. Tera planned on going to see Allura and thank her for the dress, so she did.

Allura gleamed, "Oh, it was really nothing! No need to thank me."

Tera objected," No, really! It was really nice of you. I'll return you the dress as soon as I wash it first. I didn't get it dirty or any thing, I just want to bring it back nice and neat."

The princess laughed, "No, please, keep it. I have plenty of more dresses as you had seen before. Besides, I think it looked better on you. I know Keith would agree with me." Tera's eyes widened in surprise.

She hadn't had time to think over what had happened with Keith at the party. Allura stopped her giggles, "Tera? What seems to be the matter? Did something happen?"

Tera snapped out of her thoughts, "No, but, uhh, I'm feeling a little sick after last night."

"Oh, dear, no!" Said Allura, "I'll ask Coran to bring you some tea. Coran! Please?"

Tera stopped her, "It's fine, really. Thank you, but I think I'll be going to the kitchen myself." They said their goodbyes and parted.

She knew medicine, soup, or tea were not the cures to her ailment. It was an emotional sickness. One that hardly anyone was sure to cure. It was something Tera would have to handle on her own, like most of her problems that she faced.
