Tera was confused on Keith's behavior. She wondered if she was rude or impolite. She had never been good with any kind of close relationship. She thought once she knew what friendship felt like or even love, but it was not what she thought. The person then was not who she thought to be. But, she believed Keith to be different.

As for Keith, he didn't think he'd end up having a crush on her when he offered her help. He wished he could say he had no admiration for Tera, but that would be him lying to himself. He tried to break the awkward silence.

"Hm, and to think, if I had made one wrong move back in the desert yesterday, you would have shot me right in the face," Keith said.

Tera's eyes went wide in realization, "Oh, my gosh. Well, when you put it that way-"

He laughed, "I'm joking. That didn't happen and we're both still here. Everything's alright." Keith thought it was cute the way she reacted to his teasing. He stood up and held out a hand towards Tera to help her up.

She grabbed it thankfully and Keith started talking again, "I think it's time to get back inside. It's best if we don't stay out too long." The two of them walked inside the palace in silence; both were thinking to themselves.

After walking down the halls, they decided to part ways. Keith was heading back to train while Tera decided to look around the palace and meet everyone else. She walked into a vacant room, or so she thought. She could tell someone else was in there and so, she looked behind the pillar.

There, Tera found a wild Pidge appear, crouched on the floor, leaning against the pillar with tech equipment surrounding her. Pidge noticed Tera walk up, causing her to take off her headphones and give a welcoming smile.

Tera waved, "Hey, what's all this if you don't mind me asking?" She was referring to the computer connected to the small satellite dish and a key pad.

Pidge explained, "Oh, this? It's my equipment I managed to assemble to track signals and such."

Tera was impressed, "Whoa! You made all this? That's amazing!"

Pidge scratched her head, "You think so? Heh, I guess it is pretty neat, huh?"She gave Tera a quirky grin, "I'm Pidge. I don't think we actually propperly met, so yeah."

Tera chuckled, "Well, then, I'm Tera. It's nice to meet you." They both chatted for a while, talking about all sorts of topics like favorite food, color schemes, and of course the other paladins.

"And Lance is always trying to meet girls. He's not a bad guy, really, he's just a good goofball," Pidge continued to explain, "Shiro is the group's leader- and he's pretty good at it, too. He's always thinking of the team first."

"Really? He does seem really nice from when I met him even though it was brief," Tera commented.

Pidge raised her brows, "and now, for Keith,"

Tera was now even more intrigued just by the hearing of his name.

The green paladin stated, "he's so emo! I mean, I don't know how else to put it, but he's kind of grumpy at times. Don't get me wrong, he's nice and probably the second leader figure  of the group, but he can be pretty distant at times."

Tera wanted to laugh at first, calling Keith 'emo' and all, but a piece of her was also concerned and confused. So far, Keith was her best friend here. She did not want him to warm up to her just to become 'distant' and 'cold'. Whatever relationship they had going on, Tera only wanted it to grow or never go.
