Preparing for War

Asriel is doing a lot better then I thought he would. I thought he would be stressed and overwhelmed with everything but he's not.

Everyone has been really anxious to get out of the underground.

Everyone has been here for so long, they want to get to the surface.

The Royal guards along with the Royal scientists and over course Asriel have been trying to work out a plan to get to the surface.

Somehow, (honestly I have no idea how) they got in contact with the humans and declared war.

I had no say in this whatsoever. A day ago, Azzy came home and said, "we're going to war." I'm not mad but I'm scared.

If someone dies I wouldn't know how to feel, what to do.

Today Asriel was with Mettaton perfecting his magic.

Papyrus somehow got Sans out of the house to go train.

Undyne and every Royal guard have been working their butts off everyday.

Alphys has been putting in improvements to Mettaton.

Gaster, I don't even know. He says he's going to help fight but he's still been working on stuff for me. Apparently he's putting a holster for a gun on my belt.

Frisk doesn't even want to think about any type of violence.

Me, I've been training but Asriel says I can't fight. He's to scared I'd get hurt. I keep telling him I'll be fine but he doesn't want to risk it.

The underground has never been so busy.

"Why do we have to do this? I thought everyone was happy down here." Frisk says.

"Everyone has been here for so long. We need this." I answer.

"We need war? We need violence?" Frisk asks.

"Well, no. I'm saying we need to get to the surface."

"What if you die? Won't you reset and everyone will forget you?"

I think about it. Where will I end up if I die? Is it really worth the risk? "It's worth the risk, I know it is."

"I don't know if it really is Chara."

"Stop worrying. Everyone will be fine."

*Next Day*

One day closer to war.

Asriel has been arguing with me about fighting.
"Azzy I'll be fine. Let me help." I say.

"No Chara. We can't risk you dying. We don't know where you'll end up if you reset. I don't want to forget you." He says.

"We can't risk you dying either. Your everyone's leader."

"It's better if I die then you."

Frisk walks into the living room where Asriel and I are.

"Stop talking about this. You're scaring me." She yells.

"Sorry Frisk." I apologize.
