"Good." Ethan says. "Now let's get you out of these handcuffs." He then pulls out his combat knife and starts picking the lock.

"Who are you anyway?" Asriel asks.

"The names Ethan. I saved your girlfriend from becoming a part of this insane army."

"Well you shot me then saved me." I say.

"Wait what?!" Asriel asks.

"It's a long story." I say.

Ethan struggles with the lock for what feels like forever.

He then drops his knife and starts shaking his hand.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Danm thing shocked me." Ethan says.

He picks up his knife again and tries cutting the chain.

After minutes of struggling Ethan gives up.

"I have another idea. Just stay here." He says and starts walking out of the room.

"He's been helping you?" Asriel asks.

"Yeah. He's a good guy."

"I didn't think there was a good human out there besides you and Frisk."

"How long have you been here?"

"I've been here for I wanna say two weeks."

"But it only took me and Ethan five days or so to get here. That doesn't make sense."

"I can only imagine how much blood you lost so you were probably knocked out for a week."

The door to the room opens and I instantly freeze up.

Ethan brought one of the humans here.

Ethan gives me a look that says, Relax-Be-Cool.

"So you say he's ready for training?" The human asks.

"Yes sir." Ethan says.

The human then unlocks Asriel's handcuffs and hands Ethan the key.

"We can take it from here sir." Ethan says taking the key.

The human nods and leaves the room.

Asriel stands up.

I exhale a sigh of relief.

"You gotta lighten up. I'm not gonna put you guys in any danger." Ethan says looking at me.

"What now?" Asriel asks.

"We bust outta here and make it back to the mountain." Ethan explains.

"And how are we going to do that?" I ask.

He walks to the corner of the room and presses another button.

A countdown starts going off.

Ethan lifts a hatch on the floor. "After you."
