Asriel X Chara (An Undertale FF)

They're Here

It's been months without being in the lab. Years without seeing a human. (Besides Frisk).

My soul has been working just fine. I'm back to my normal life.

When Asriel comes home he looks exhausted and stressed. He sits on the couch next to me and sighs.

"Are you ok? You seem stressed." I ask.

"I am. I can't catch a break. It's a miracle that I actually have time to talk to you."

"Well you have a break now. Relax." I say and place my hands in his shoulders. "Ignore all of the phone calls and people. Just relax." I get really close to his face. "You need this." I kiss him.

Seconds maybe minutes roll by. Asriel then starts unbuttoning my flannel shirt I have on.

*Ring* Asriel's phone starts ringing. He reaches for it but I grab his wrist before he could answer it. "Just ignore it. It's not important right now." I say.

We continue kissing. About two seconds later, *Ring* Asriel reaches for it but stops himself. "You're right, it's not important."

I smile and kiss him again.

I expected his phone to ring again after two seconds but it didn't.

Five seconds later, *Ring* "Alright I have to answer it." Asriel says and picks up the phone.

I knew he was gonna answer it sooner or later.

I start buttoning my shirt back up but before I could even button one Asriel ends the call and looks at me. "Go get Frisk." He says getting up.

"Why?" I ask.

"Just go get her." He says and runs into his room.

I knock on Frisk's door then let myself in.

"Hey Chara. Did you need something?" Frisk asks.

"Yeah, Asriel needs us."

She gets up and we walk into the hallway. "What for?" She asks.

"I have no idea."

We come to the front door where Asriel is. He's putting a padlock on the door.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"The humans are attacking. Undyne and the Royal guard are handling it but I know they're coming for us. We have to fight them off."

"Ha ha Asriel very funny. This isn't the type of thing to joke about." I say.

"Does it sound like I'm joking?" Asriel says. "Take this." He hands me my weapons belt. "Go get Frisk something to defend herself, I'll watch the door."

Without hesitation I bring Frisk to the kitchen and start rummaging through the cabinets.

"Why are the humans here?" Frisk asks.

"They probably wanted to kill is while we're  unarmed. They want to get rid of us so they don't have to live in fear that we might attack them." I answer.

"I can't do this. I can't hurt anybody."

"You don't have to." I hand her a burnt frying pan. "Block everything, I'll cover you."

"I'm scared Chara."

"I am too. We just have to be Determined."

We come back to the door. Asriel has his blaster pointed at it. I do the same with my gun.

The door starts shaking.

We are all silent as the padlock gets weaker and weaker.

After about a minute, ten maybe more, humans burst through the the door.

We're very outnumbered and out-geared, but we end up fighting them off.

The humans are gone so I rip off a shelf from a bookshelf and stick it through the door handles. It's weak but it'll give us a little time to get ready.

"Are you guys ok? Did you get hit?" I ask.

Frisk shakes her head.

"I don't know." Asriel says.

"What do you mean?"

He lifts up the sleeve of his shirt. His arm is really red.

"What happened?" I ask and get a closer look.

"One of them stabbed me with some type of syringe. I don't know what was in it."

"We have to get you to Dr.Gaster when we have the chance. This doesn't sound good." I say.

The door starts rattling again.

I point my gun at it ready to shoot.

The door opens. Before I could see who it was my finger slips and I pull the trigger.

Everything seems like it's going in slow motion because the person I just pulled the trigger on, was Sans.
