It's been so long.
Life has been boring as always.
Asriel is at the lab so I thought I would do a little target practice since the lab has a room for that kind of stuff.
I grab my belt and open the door.
"I'll be home later Frisk!" I call and walk out the door.
Once I get to the lab no one is there except Asriel.
"Hey, what're you doing here?" He asks.
"I'm bored so I thought I would shoot some shit."
"I guess I'll join since Gaster has to do something and Alphys is at home."
We walk into the long room with a crap ton of targets.
I pull out my handgun and point it at one of the targets.
"Wait." Asriel interrupts. "Can you please save. Just in case."
"If you really think I'm that much of a klutz, fine."
I close my eyes and focus on saving.
The star appears and I save.
I open my eyes and point my gun at the target again.
"I don't think that will penetrate that thick of metal." Asriel says. "Your bullet will most likely bounce back at you. Didn't you bring your sniper?"
"Azzy I'm gonna be fine. They're made to be shot."
"With magic." He then points his hand at one of the targets and a stream on rainbow magic destroys it.
"Show off." I pull the trigger.
As Asriel said the bullet bounces back at me.
I have no time to move so it hits me right in the stomach.
Asriel tries to help me but there's nothing be can do.
Blackness. Then I'm back at my save point.
My head is pounding because of the reset. I fall to my knees.
"Whoa, are you ok?" Asriel asks kneeling down next to me.
"Why are you always right?"
"What do you mean?"
Before I could answer, my phone starts ringing.
It's Frisk.
"Hey Frisk." I say.
"Are you ok? What happened? Why did you reset?"
"I'm fine. I was just being stupid."
"Is Asriel ok?"
"Yeah, he's fine."
"Good. Please be more careful. We don't want to ruin any timelines."
"I will. We'll be home soon."
"Ok. I'll see you then." She hangs up.
I put my phone away and look at Asriel. "Let's just go home." I stand up.
"Did you just reset?"
