Asriel X Chara (An Undertale FF)

It Worked

Asriel looks at me with confusion in his eyes.

"I'm going to kill myself." I put my knife up to my chest.

"Chara no! We don't know how far back you'll end up!" Frisk yells.

Asriel doesn't say anything.

"Chara please! Don't do this." Frisk pleads.

"Frisk, I have to do this. It's the only way." I tell her.

Asriel just looks even more confused.

I take a deep breath. "I'll see you later Frisk."

"Bye Chara." She says through tears.

"Goodbye crazy." I say to Asriel.

I take my knife and drive it through my chest.

Blackness.

When I open my eyes I'm in front of the shaking door with my gun pointed at it.

It worked. My save worked.

I've never told anyone but whenever I'm in a life or death situation my mind goes blank and I see a small star. When I touch it, it saves. Gaster has told me a lot about it but I've never tested if it works. Thank gosh it does.

I turn to Frisk. We hug each other. She's the only person who remembers the other timeline.

"I'm sorry you had to see that. I'm sorry you have to remember that." I apologize.

"It's ok. We're all ok." She says.

"What are you two doing. This door won't last much longer." Asriel says.

I let go of Frisk and turn to him.

I slap him across the face.

"Ow! What the hell was that for?!"

I hug him. "Don't you dare ever do that to me ever again."

"What did I do?"

"It's a long story."

We take out the humans again but this time I ripped the syringe out of the humans hand before it could touch Asriel.

After all the humans are gone I grab Asriel's arm. It's not red.

"Are you ok Frisk?" I ask.

She nods.

Sans and Undyne come to check on us again.

After a couple of minutes of talking they both leave.

"Alright, what's going on with you two?" Asriel asks.

Frisk and I look at each other. "You should sit down for this one." I say walking towards the couch.

We tell him everything.

"Wow. You have one hell of an imagination." Asriel says.

"Ugh!" I groan. He hasn't believed any of this since we started.

"This actually happened. Chara had to reset and now we're here." Frisk explains.

"If what you're saying really is true, then you were able to save. Why didn't you tell me you saved?"

"I didn't know if it would work. I didn't want to get your hopes up if it didn't work. Even though you wouldn't remember anyway."

"I guess that makes sense."

"I think I'm going to go to bed. Today was a long day." Frisk says.

"Night Frisk." Asriel says as she walks off.

A minute goes by and we decide to go to sleep.

Right before I shut my eyes Asriel speaks.

"Hey Chara."

"What's up Azzy?"

"I'm sorry."

"Sorry for what? You didn't do anything wrong."

"For the past timeline."

"That wasn't your fault. If it weren't for the humans, that wouldn't have happened. You don't have to be sorry."

"I guess. I just feel bad that you had to go through that."

"It was hard but I'm here now. That's all that matters."

Asriel smiles.

"Now shut up, I'm tired."

I'm going to be honest. I've been super lazy lately and haven't been working as hard as I should on this story. I'm juggling ideas for the next chapters but I'm not sure if I'm going to use them. If I don't get a chapter out tomorrow, blame my laziness. (And YouTube. I blame YouTube). Thanks for reading!
