Asriel X Chara (An Undertale FF)

The Broken Soul

I'm still in the lab and in pain. I want to see Asriel.

Gaster has still been trying to fix my soul.

I've been thinking a lot about Asriel. I'm not mad at for lying to me. I'm just worried that he's hurt.

I hear footsteps coming upstairs. When I look to see who it is, it's Asriel.

"Azzy! You're ok!" I yell and gesture for him to come and hug me.

"Why wouldn't I be?" He asks.

I remember that he doesn't know that I know he lied. "Gaster told me everything. I'm not mad at you. I understand. You just didn't want to see me get hurt even more."

"Oh, I'm sorry I lied."

"It's fine."

Gaster walks in. "Asriel, I didn't see you come in. Did you need anything?"

"Actually yes. I kinda broke my blaster. Do you think you could fix it before the next war?"

"Of course. I'll fix it now."

They walk downstairs and fix his blaster. When Asriel comes back up he sits by my side. "Gaster told me your soul is broken."

"That? It's nothing. I'm fine."

"No you're not. With every passing second it will continue to break. If Gaster doesn't fix it in time, you could die."

Why did Gaster not tell me this? I ask in my head. "Oh...he never told me that."

"Chara, I-I'm sorry."

"I'll be fine. He can fix it in time. I know he-ugh." I get an aching pain in my chest.

"That's your soul."

The pain goes away. "Am I going to be ok?"

"I..." Then his phone starts ringing. "Danm it. I gotta go. I'll come see you soon." He kisses me and leaves.

*Next Day*

All day I hear power tools downstairs. All I can think about is my soul being broken.

It's scary when you know you might die.

Gaster is working very hard trying to fix me but I don't know if he's going to do it in time.

I've been able to at least stand but my body still hurts.

Once in a while I'll get a sharp pain in my chest and it makes it harder to do anything. I know it's my soul breaking even more. I'm just praying it won't break all the way.

I was laying in my bed in the lab when I hear a stampede of footsteps leading upstairs.

Everyone and I mean everyone has come to see me. They still have their armor on. It's so nice to see that they're all ok.

I stand up and hug everyone.

I hold onto Asriel. "Did we win?"

"No, the humans are way to strong. The last fight, they only used magic."

"There's always a next time." I say and kiss him.

After a couple seconds Undyne yells, "Get a room would ya!"

Everyone laughs. Once I pull off of Asriel I feel the pain in my chest, but a lot worse.

I grab onto Asriel's shoulders a lot harder.

"Chara? Are you ok?" He asks.

My eyes roll back in my head and I collapse onto to floor.

Before I completely black out I hear Asriel. "Go get Gaster!"

Then I'm gone.
