Asriel X Chara (An Undertale FF)

War

It's the day of the war and everyone has been running around getting ready.

Toriel doesn't quite approve of this but since it's already set in stone she doesn't have a say.

Frisk, she's just very paranoid about this. I've been comforting her since I woke up. She's been crying for a while. I feel horrible.

Asriel has been with the Royal guard and everyone who's in the war, strategizing a little bit more.

"Frisk, it's gonna be ok. Everyone is going to be fine. Stop crying please." I say rubbing her back.

"I'm scared Chara. For you, for Asriel, for everyone."

"The longer you cry the more scared I get."

"I can't help it." She continues crying.

My phone starts ringing, it's Asriel. "What's up Azzy?"

"You gotta get over here. The humans are breaking the barrier."

"Crap, already? I'll be right there." I quickly hang up.

Frisk looks at me with puppy dog eyes.

I hug her. "I'll be back in one piece. I promise." I say and run to Undyne's house.

Once I get there I quickly put on the armor Undyne gave me and run to the castle.

I barge into the room and only Asriel is there.

"There you are." Asriel says.

"I thought the barrier was broken. I ran here as fast as I could." I say in between breaths.

"I just said that so you'd get here faster."

"I hate you." I hug him.

"Is Frisk ok?"

"She's fine, just crying."

"That doesn't sound ok."

"Guys, the barrier is breaking." Undyne comes into the room.

"Let's go." Asriel says.

Everyone is standing, watching the barrier shatter.

Sans nudges me with his elbow and looks at me.

"Sans? Didn't think you'd help." I say.

"Nothing better to do. Besides, this weak army needs me."

I feel a hand on my shoulder. It's Gaster.

"Dr. Gaster?"

"I though I would pitch in." Gaster says with a smile.

"You ready kid?" Undyne asks.

I nod.

"You'd better be ready darling 'cause here we go." Mettaton says.

I look at what used to be the barrier and get butterflies in my stomach.

"You scared?" Sans asks.

"Me? Ppssshhhhh nah!"

Everyone starts walking out of the underground to face the humans.

The humans are down the mountain. Some on a hill with bows and arrows and most with swords and shields. Only a couple look like they can do magic.

The monsters, we have a lot of firepower. Blasters, magical attacks. You name it, we got it.

Our armies look about even, if you don't count power.
